Faustika nailed it. It's got a classic math rock sound. I hate myself for using the word classic, but the genre is pretty old anymore. This Town Needs Guns' song "Adventure, Stamina & Anger" is another great example of new-ish math rock. This playlist does a pretty good job summarizing things: 8tracks.com/carlos_ramirez/i-know-my-math-and-yours-too
I believe Totorro's music videos are some of the greatest examples of modern story telling and cinematography....and they're honestly just badass and hilarious
Childhood, slow buildup in simple and elegant memory, Teens - Grunge, life in the fast lane, layers of subtle but prominent grunge, Early 20s - The turn, which path to take, Currently late twenties - stop for a while, pause a little, is this really what you want to do... and then creschendo - no turning back now. Whether the rest of the song plays out time will tell. When a song with only instrumentals does this to you, what are words needed for?
C'est énorme ce que vous faites ! Je vous écoute depuis peu de temps mais c'est trop bon ! Bravo. Ps : Si vous cherchez un chanteur je suis partant ! Continuez
Sarah Skyler Bucu First place is "La Dune du Pylat" near Bordeaux on the Atlantic Coast, the mountains in the background of the second scene look like the Pyrenees but I could be wrong, and the waterfall scene is near Autoire, the very last scene is the city of Rocamadour. The scenes in the forest and small village are hard to tell, as most forests look alike, but I'll guess it was shot in the Lot or in Dordogne (those are French departments). Cheers !
+Jean Poulmarc'h I just recognized that last scene as being Rocamadour last night. What fun to see a place that is probably pretty obscure to most Americans, which I have actually visited. It's best from the perspective of the video, down in the valley it is a tourist trap.
Hello there! (...) This music is amazing ! How eciting the sound ! What energy and technical level ! I think it's an aestetic example ( far not rare ) of punk and r.i.o. music turning into a "so positive" googlelike ad . May be some 2nd degree humor of a young generation which isn't mine (near 50) but what I see at 4:53 reminds me of the band Laibach who was ,during the 80's, attempting to show how pop culture could be backhanded (feeling confirmed by the drummer's haircut): th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=laibach+life+is+life bisous bisous

How do you pronounce the name? Totorro or Totorrò?
I saw them live last night, and they.seemed to say it like toe-tuh-row. I've always said to-tuh-row
Ty my dude, seen them live too a week ago but i couldnt get them saying the name.
They're french so it's pretty straight forward "towtowrow" probably at least that how I would pronounce it (I'm french btw)
Toe-tor-row
If you say totoro like the ghibli mascot then is say your wrong but close.
