I have played this game for 9+ years and I'm a super-unicum. Players have been complaining about bad RNG, rigged MM, and seemingly pre-determined matches since the beginning, and it's always been a part of this community. But I cannot help but notice that the sheer amount of instances & complaints about the aforementioned arguable subjects have absolutely skyrocketed over the last 3-4 years since 6.0, especially over this past year. Let us not forget, too, that these very same Devs were forced to admit via a stream in 2021 that they had directly manipulated damage and penetration RNG for new players based upon the number of games they had played ... and they NEVER consulted the community ONCE about it until they were found out. They lied to us about it from the beginning when initially confronted: first they said it was only for their first 10 games, then it changed to 20, then 50, and then finally they admitted to 100 games being DIRECTLY MANIPULATED by them to favor CERTAIN PLAYERS based on a PREDETERMINED PERAMETER. If these Devs are capable of controlling RNG based upon the number of games a certain account has, then what else could they possibly be doing behind the scenes to directly influence matches? It's an absolutely terrifying thought, in my opinion. You say these Devs are dumb - and yes, they may be - but they aren't stupid ... they're more capable of being sleezy and dishonest than I think we're giving them credit for. I have NEVER been a proponent of the "game is rigged" crowd, but with the number of complaints only rising over the past 3 years, it's becoming harder and harder to deny that this game could be, in fact, more directly influenced than we previously realized. These instances are rising because the player base is full of new and ignorant players. The playerbase is also dwindling so the devs have propped up the game with more and more bots in matchmaking. The game isn't rigged. Matches aren't predetermined. Matchmaking is broken due there not being enough people playing, the few that do are average at best, and bots are at all tiers, even during peak hours.
I don't care what anyone says....things are (have been for awhile) screwed up. Some days, I take all beautifully aimed shots (and I SUCK at aiming) and none will pen. Then I take wild auto aimed shots while driving and and it doesn't even look like my turret has gotten onto them yet, and it goes through. Some days, everything goes through, some days nothing. Some days I'm invincible, some I get penned by everything 2 tiers lower. My tank has a view range to the end of the map. They see me, I see nobody. I'm getting shot by 3 guys, still can't see them (they all can't be camo'd, in a bush w/ flash suppress). I roll up out of an embankment into a bush (in a camo'd light), as soon as I crest the bank, I'm shot at but I can still see nobody. I'm on one slope of a hill, he's on the other, I can't even see the top of his turret, yet he's penning me. I can't even HIT a guy my barrel is almost touching (light chasing light) but someone hits me from 5 squares away while I'm driving 80 and zigzagging. Seems impossible. I'm not very good, so I can't overcome it very well. CG is good, so I'm sure he just does better, no matter what.
bubba ever see a Tiger 1 face a ATGM missile light tank at teir x and bounce shots and the tiger can penn and kill the teir ten well tiger 1 is what teir my friend? teir 7 a V11 way back when atgms just came out my clan wanted to test them I was curious what would happen in my tiger 1 if I faced one of them incase of fluke match making, (ithappend before in my tiger 1 a platoon was on my team offset teirs so teir 7s had to face 10s not just the 2 above like the game makes because every tank in theory can fight two teirs above it.) don't be crying because you have poor skill and need to improve, fully aimed shot bs more like aimed at wrong spot of tank and never will penn that angle or thick armor aka you made mistake and fully aimed a never hittable spot....

The 1st 3 pen, so clearly I can locate the weak spots. Now he's a 1 shot and the next 4 bounce. In the same spot. Sure RNG, but the RNG just suddenly switched when he was about to die? How can I be tailing a light in my light, my barrel is literally a foot off his ass, and not only do I not pen, I don't even hit him! That is a physical impossibility. OK, it's a game, not reality....but that is ridiculous. I'm in a tank that goes 80....yet I can't outrun a guy who can only do 50. He runs right up my ass. Never did I say any algorithm was applied to me specifically. More like it randomly rotates through the game, hitting any given team at any given time. Ok so look at that model again (sp)(sp) 0mm spaced works differently than standard hard to explain but the shell went through both (sp) then hit 0mm so the RNG was Guaranteed to pin
For your tutorial vids I'd suggest you use the square map during your example games. It's waaaay easier to figure out how you're reacting to the opposing team and what positions you're taking from the overview map versus the radar view. Please?
I figured you can’t see shells in replay mode anymore last night because a similar thing happened when I tried to track an Emil II facing me directly in front of me and the shell when completely through and didn’t register that it hit at all *edit: So I thought maybe it flew through a small space in between the hull and tracks. Checked the armor model and there’s no space at all so it just completely ghosted through
I don't think they guarantee wins/losses, but they do try to influence the outcome by giving one team 10-12 clueless players and giving the other team 10-12 good players. It happens way too regularly to be a fluke. Pretty sure they also influence one team's RNG over the other's. But your "dumb developer" theory could have something to it, as well.
Where do you check your stats bro? I have seen this happen to me too many times. Like there’s no pen shots in my turret. I have some many clips where my shells go into the abyss.

I think there's a basic "shell" of hit points and regardless of where you hit a tank, it's going to do basically the same damage. I've hit tanks in all their locations and it does the same average amount of damage. One time a bot went down into a gully and I rolled in behind it and put three rounds straight into the top of its engine cowl as it tried to crawl up the edge. The third shot left it with about 12 hit points and another player on my team came in and stole the kill.
Thank you for acknowledging the level of effort it takes to actually get good at the game and shutting down the people that say it’s rigged. It would make the game absolutely and horribly more complicated than the game already is. I have a 3500 WN8 and I don’t stream or anything but I guess I have streamer RNG. Cheers man. I quite this game recently, only logged during the GUP event. Nothings gotten better, they made it worse with more premiums. In sorry but I'm done with war gaming. I want a tank game that's not free to play, I'll spend 80 on the disk.
Maybe take advantageous positions, not just for yourself, but for your team as a whole like he says in the video and you'll have less runaway games. If the match is lost, try to salvage the game as best as possible and move onto the next match with the same mindset. The better you play, the more matches you'll win. It's not a hard concept to grasp, and the opposite is also true.
Artillery cannot shoot through a building and hit my tank but in WOTC they can. Tank sitting below ridge of hill, can only see the very top of his cupola, cannot hit me right as his whole tank is below ridge, but in WOTC they can. No way can anyone suffer first shot ammo racks 8 of 10 shots, but in WOTC one can. One shot by artillery more than one can count, but WOTC is good at that. Tank fire guaranteed if you’re one of the last tanks left in any game, WOTC insures that. These are just a few example of the hundreds of misfires to the algorithms in WOTC but hey it’s not rigged it’s just a random bunch of coincidences.
Tell me how it is that in a Vanguard, that goes mid 80's, I can't outrun something like a Draugen that only goes mid 50's. I couldn't shake him or put any distance between him. He just ran me down. LOL Happens quite often.....especially when you are the last one on your team.

eh skyrim full of bugs yet still one of the best games out there to date, back in 2004 or 2005 I learned coding to help a friend make a videogame, there is way more behind the scences to create a game then you players realise and very easy for missing stuff when you keep adding soo much all the time.

The devs don't decide what they want from the game; the EXECUTIVES do. The devs are just their lackeys. If the Executive Board tells the dev department "make the game more enjoyable but also cost more in consumables....you have 3 months to get it done.".....the devs get it done, no matter the cost to the game. Low level dev : "but this adjustment to [Insert game mechanic here] might make ghost shells happen." Lead dev : "so? Hardly anybody checks those things anymore anyway, and those that do don't pay more money than those that don't check. So, you wanna keep your job?"

Your dumb developer theory will probably be the most accurate off all in my eyes. The game is indeed probably broken and they will probably have no solution to fix it. I am just a decent player of 2400 wn8 so not even close to super unicum stats like you. The stuff that i hate the most is shells hitting you true hills or rocks thankfully it does not happen allot. But it does piss me off when it happens. By the way i also had a shell exiting my barrel at a 90° angle to the left few days ago just like that other youtuber had during his famous video. So was no fluke it can still happen to anyone ! 😅

There’s no obsession of purple here. We are merely presenting evidence of claims being made. As far as losing the community goes, I’ve never been closer. I’ve never had so many messages from players of so many calibers thanking me for covering these topic that they relate to. It’s pretty cool and I’m making so many friends. When you're playing lower tier one game and it's a good match and I do average that game it will purposely put me in a tier 10 lobby with all the OP s*** The game really seemed like it's out to get me but it's weird there's ways to bypass it like if I wait on leaderboard screen for a certain amount of time it will put me in is top tier or just put me in my own tear which is odd it seems kind of consistent too it's like the longer you wait the more likely it be a good lobby

The tracer and hole decal is just a visual approximation of what the server calculates. It isn't 100% accurate.

With gold brands the damage they ask for is also nonsense, I don't know what they are based on, can you explain it?
His second shell has 334 pen, could be that he was using premium? That would possibly penetrate your 332 armor

Maybe take advantageous positions, not just for yourself, but for your team as a whole like he says in the video and you'll have less runaway games. If the match is lost, try to salvage the game as best as possible and move onto the next match with the same mindset. The better you play, the more matches you'll win. It's not a hard concept to grasp, and the opposite is also true.

Feel your pain I maintain a 60% winrate at uni and low super.
Artillery cannot shoot through a building and hit my tank but in WOTC they can. Tank sitting below ridge of hill, can only see the very top of his cupola, cannot hit me right as his whole tank is below ridge, but in WOTC they can. No way can anyone suffer first shot ammo racks 8 of 10 shots, but in WOTC one can. One shot by artillery more than one can count, but WOTC is good at that. Tank fire guaranteed if you’re one of the last tanks left in any game, WOTC insures that. These are just a few example of the hundreds of misfires to the algorithms in WOTC but hey it’s not rigged it’s just a random bunch of coincidences.
Tell me how it is that in a Vanguard, that goes mid 80's, I can't outrun something like a Draugen that only goes mid 50's. I couldn't shake him or put any distance between him. He just ran me down. LOL Happens quite often.....especially when you are the last one on your team.

eh skyrim full of bugs yet still one of the best games out there to date, back in 2004 or 2005 I learned coding to help a friend make a videogame, there is way more behind the scences to create a game then you players realise and very easy for missing stuff when you keep adding soo much all the time.

@@moe5809 how many new tanks keep beeing added, how many game modes are being created to be added, how much testing of tank tweeks do the devs need to make, how much balancing do they need to do and test, and bubba to develope a game you have to write in code its nothing like you see when you play a game.
@@moe5809 hell rockstar is famous for adding new stuff to soon and not testing to see what the new codes might have messed up with the old codes, example to devolope a game to get one simple movement of a sword and hand in the swing over 200 lines of code for the sword alone!

The devs don't decide what they want from the game; the EXECUTIVES do. The devs are just their lackeys. If the Executive Board tells the dev department "make the game more enjoyable but also cost more in consumables....you have 3 months to get it done.".....the devs get it done, no matter the cost to the game. Low level dev : "but this adjustment to [Insert game mechanic here] might make ghost shells happen." Lead dev : "so? Hardly anybody checks those things anymore anyway, and those that do don't pay more money than those that don't check. So, you wanna keep your job?"

The stuff that i hate the most is shells hitting you true hills or rocks thankfully it does not happen allot. But it does piss me off when it happens. By the way i also had a shell exiting my barrel at a 90° angle to the left few days ago just like that other youtuber had during his famous video. So was no fluke it can still happen to anyone ! 😅

There’s no obsession of purple here. We are merely presenting evidence of claims being made. As far as losing the community goes, I’ve never been closer. I’ve never had so many messages from players of so many calibers thanking me for covering these topic that they relate to. It’s pretty cool and I’m making so many friends. I, like a lot of your subs, like your stuff. Just keep in mind the vast majority of the player base is the 45-55% WR people. Mainly because we only play when life allows. You 60+%ers are a very very small part (yet loud) of the player base. Players with far more time to play video games than 99% of people or have a word natural talent for a tank game!
@@jb2791 Since the “Top Tier” players account for less than 5% of the player base… No. As in any game the “Elites” have the most time dedicated to the game so are the most involved, most educated and loudest of the game’s community. With that said, they are NEVER the part of the game’s community that spends the most money. Just ask Wargaming.

When you're playing lower tier one game and it's a good match and I do average that game it will purposely put me in a tier 10 lobby with all the OP s*** The game really seemed like it's out to get me but it's weird there's ways to bypass it like if I wait on leaderboard screen for a certain amount of time it will put me in is top tier or just put me in my own tear which is odd it seems kind of consistent too it's like the longer you wait the more likely it be a good lobby
