Twice outsold SNSD by millions and millions and its not even close, not to mention their international and touring success which has far, far surpassed SNSD. If you want to talk numbers than Twice is the only one that can be rightfully be named Nations GG lol. And for the record, 2NE1 was the biggest girl group back then on the international stage not SNSD, and far more girl groups nowadays follow 2NE1's blueprint.

Damn this videos is literally to showing ur pride about 2ne1(the disband one), LOL! SNSD still nunber one even " u don't like their dance ". SNSD still shining 'till now and they're not just can singing but they're don't needed the aytotune cause they have 2 main vocals and 3 lead vocals and ofc they're vocal queen of kpop, many kpop idols like jisoo bp, nayeon momo tw, v bts, hyolyn, etc. and many groups like : itzy, weekly, iz*one, kep1er, ive, aespa, etc. choosing SNSD to be their standard.
You can tell Aespa were taking notes from SNSD because all of them look like robots on stage (except HYO). At least my favs have stage presence and the members have solo careers. Can you say the same for SNSD.
The thing is all the groups you mentioned have members that literally idolize 2NE1/CL too plus many others regardless of concept. Even members of Shinee said they were inspired by them, Seohyun said that she learned things by watching 2NE1, and all of Blackpink said they wanted to emulate them. The girl group standard that most follow nowadays was solidified by 2NE1, and the cutesy image SNSD was only known for faded long, long time ago.

Nice to see f(x) get some love. I can clear up at least one little mystery for you, the origin of SONE (pronounced So-un-nay). It's from the song "Genie" and it means _wish._ The song opens with the phrase _tell me your wish_ "so unnay mardebwa" Good song, three different MV's, the standard, the Japanese, and the Samsung 3D sponsored (the lattermost being my favorite)

And I didn’t lie. SNSD blatantly ripped 2NE1 off not only with that song and album but also with most if not all of thier girl crush based songs.

2NE1's Goodbye was initially written by CL for Minzy's departure from the group but they had to change it as their disbandment song cause we all know YGE did these girls dirrrrrtyyyyyyy. It's really one of the worst disbandments in K-Pop history, especially for the very group that paved the way for girl crush groups. These women worked so hard only to be stabbed in the back by their label. YGE didn't even have the decency to inform them of the disbandment which makes it even more heartbreaking. The girls found out through the media. Like what even------ CL was having thanksgiving dinner when her phone started blowing up. Thinking about it makes me so pissed again...

Girl, it's one thing to have an opinion and another thing to be hating on a group. Ranking Girls' Generation lower than 2ne1 on their dancing abilities is a little cringey, especially when Hyoyeon is known in the industry for being the best 2nd gen female dancer. Even Minzy said she looks up to Hyoyeon in terms of skill. But, ranking them lowest in vocal ability is just weird. Girls' Generation has objectively the best 2nd gen female vocal line. The group literally has FIVE fantastic singers. I won't say Taeyeon is the best singer ever. At this point in her career, she has really become stunningly impressive, but back in the early-mid 2010s, Hyolyn (Sistar), Luna (Fx), Eunji (Apink), and Solji (EXID) were all arguably better vocalists than Taeyeon. Despite that, as a whole, SNSD was always the strongest group in this category. There are things I agree with though. CL is definitely the strongest and fiercest female rapper (periodt), and Minzy is an awesome performer. Hyuna is the best performer though, even better than Minzy. I don't love SNSD's discography either, they have a few highly enjoyable songs and a lot of average to below-average trendy songs. But, other groups are not expempt from this trend thing. 2ne1 has great music, but their most popular song is I Am The Best, which is musically just....*sighs*....it should have been Come Back Home. That song deserves it all. Wonder Girls also have great music, but my personal favorite for discography is F(x). And, yes, F(x) and 2NE1 have super cool names, but let's be honest, Girls' Generation is an empowering fucking name, I can't take you seriously if you say it's bad. Into The New World was the most iconic debut song out of all of these and it's evident. I mean, that song is used for political movements and protests, it goes beyond Kpop and fan wars. Also, 4MINUTE Hate is one of my all-time favorite songs. It makes me so mad that it didn't do that well.

Minzy can outdance any female idol in 2nd gen 2) SNSD vocals are boring and they have no performances as good as 2NE1 CBH & If I were you on Sketchbook 4) IATB + Fire were chanted religiously during the Filipino presidential election, their songs go beyond just Korea.

Im a blackjack first and foremost i love 2ne1 and everything they have done. But even i know snsd and wonder girls have a special place in kpop.
Anyways i would rank them like this.
Concepts.
Fx - sorry as much as i love 2ne1 fx had such a fun concept espically there last 3 albums they where actual magic not only the concept but just everything they did fit so well togther.
2ne1 - okay there concept for the girl crush thing was very very clearly definied from the start and they have done it the best since they made it a mainstream concept.
Wonder girls - there retro concept is actually magnificent as well as there band concept.
Snsd - they changed concept alot but eventually they came full circle to there original girl next door concept although i think Genie as a concept and song is one of the best kpop songs and concepts done in the whole of kpop.
4minute - they where very hit and miss with there concepts they started girl crush but changed throughout the years but they ended up hitting home run after home run during there later half of there career with there concepts it just took them a bit to long to find there signature sound amd style.
Visuals - all because i love all of there visuals for diffrent reasons, 2ne1 and 4minute had more edgy looks espically during concepts like i love you and i am the best for 2ne1 and 4minute with crazy and hate. Wonder girls and snsd had very typical girl group looks which i loved. Fx had a nice blend of edgy but also classic visuals, the edgy looks being amber where as Krystal and sulli had that classic SM vibe to them.
Dance.
Snsd - sorry to say but snsd had some of the best choreography amongst 2nd gen girl groups and very early on as well if you actually watch the stage performance for into the new world that shit is considered one of the hardest choreographys in the whole of kpop and i mean have you attempted to try and learn there dance for catch me if you can you will actually have a new respect for them after that song.
4minute - i agree with you in they where probably the only girl group to get 3rd gen choreography amongst all there pairs in this video and they pulled it of really well. Especially hate i love that dance its so crazy that it flopped that hard.
Fx - im only ranking them higher then 2ne1 because 4 walls was such a great choice of song and choreography that it does everything better then 2ne1s choreography ever did.
2ne1 - not as dynamic in there dance moves more focused on there stage presence and swag which really sets them apart from most other girl groups.
Wonder girls - they never really relied heavily on dance heavy songs although love you like money is a fun dance they succeed the most in hook dances which was a lot of fun.
Rap.
2ne1 - 4minute.
2ne1 had CL and minzy. CL is the best kpop idol rapper ive ever heard, i put her above even Gdragon. And minzy was a good lead rapper who could hold her own on a track as well.
4minute had Hyuna who was a rap beast and jiyon who i actually like rapping more then hyuna in some of 4minutes songs.
Wonder girls - Yubin is actually a really great rapper for an idol rapper as well as shes better then jiyoon and minzy at rapping but shes not as good as CL and Hyuna. Her verse on tell me and so hot are iconic.
Fx - amber will always be the better sm rapper from second gen she actually sounds like she listens to hip hop and rap music at least.
Snsd - never focused on rap in there music much but when they did hyoeyon did a decent enough job for the song, nothing amazing to write home about though.
Stage presence
2ne1 - okay ill give this one cut a clear to 2ne1. This one 2ne1 always carried stage presence like no one else.
4minute - yeah your right hyuna and the girls always had great stage presence.
Fx - amber and luna definitely loved hyping the crowd and i think they did a decent enough job at interacting with the crowd.
Wonder girls - i say this purely because during the band concept they had to interact with the crowds abit more which i loved.
Snsd - they are amazing on stage but your right theey never varied much from the choreography that was given to them.
Discographies.
Wonder girls - ive actually found myself loving more songs from wonder girls then not loving songs from them, except for the dj is mine that song i completely cant stand but beside that everything else they have released ive really enjoyed even deep cuts from albums. Sweet dreams and sweet and easy are top tier kpop songs. Bad boy of there first single album is such a good popping song i live for it and have played it out so much.
Fx - again the same reason as above but with maybe 1 or 2 songs i dont really enjoy per album or mini album but i enjoy majority of there music.
Snsd - they had very different variety in there music and there one of the only girl groups from this list with a japanese discography that is better then there korean one. Flower power and galaxy supernova are there best title songs.
2ne1 - okay they have great songs but alot of it starts sounding the same especially on that first album but when 2ne1 hits they hit hard. But i will say there last album is one of the best kpop albums from that year and there 2nd mini album with all of the songs becoming singles was iconic.
4minute - they suffer the same fate as 2ne1 in that alot of there early songs start sounding the same but they had very good songs but nothing outstanding till there last 2 mini albums although i did love volume up that song is a great pop song in general. 4minute actually have very good japanese only tracks as well love tension is a great song from them.
Vocals
Snsd - sorry but they have taeyeon as there main vocalist. I love the other girls but she is the main vocalist of main vocalist for a reason, theres a reason she has some of the most successful solo albums amongst her 2nd gen pairs.
Fx - Luna is a vocal beast she hard carried fx in the vocal department and her progression as a vocalist is nothing to scoff at, shes technically a better singer then taeyeon but her vocals are not as distinctive as her predecessors.
Wonder girls - tbh wonder girls have a very very solid vocal line in any lineup yeeun could run circles around most girl group members that have debut these days and sunye definitely helped create the sound of future JYP female vocalist for years after she debut.
2ne1 - sorry to say it but park bom and her regression really held back alot of what 2ne1 could do vocally back and it meat that minzy hard carried alot of 2ne1s vocals in the latter half of there careers. As great of a vocalist CL was her and dara could never fill that spot that park bom left when she regressed so it left minzy to do all the vocal carrying on her own in that last album. Also to be fair 2ne1s vocals never called for much vocal moments where the girls really had to belt above there vocal capacity but they could do high soaring notes with no problems.
4minute - i mean tbh the girls can sing but just like 2ne1 there vocals where never really called on in there music unlike fx and snsd where the vocal peaks where alot more higher and significant just like 2ne1 there vocals where never a main focus for the group which was never a bad thing but it also meant that 4minute never had to reach well above there vocal range and belting range alot in there songs. Although there where moments in songs just like 2ne1 where the girls could if they really wanted to.
Debut song.
Fx - your right lachata was a very good debut song and such a great showing of there talent and the video suited there concept very well and its just a great song in general and the dance is so much fun.
Snsd - it pains me to say because i dont really like this song but its impact on kpop in general and the way it helped shape kpop is something i just cant get over, they litterally helped birth the next gen of kpop girl groups and what is to be expected also this song has had lasting impact across the whole of korea not just the kpop industry.
2ne1 - fire was definitely that birth of girl crush in a way we had never seen before or after, its a slick song with a fun video as well both versions but it also hasn't aged as well as lachata which was released in the same year.
4minute - hot issue just like fire is a fun song and it has alot of the same quirks as fire but its a bit more teen crush then girl crush.
Wonder girls - irony is a solid debut song but its definitely of its time and has a lot of resemblance to songs that where popular on the top 40 in America at that time which is nothing bad but it definitely feels dated, tbh it kind of felt dated when it was released. I do like the song although tell me definitely felt like a debut song tbh only because it became the song associated with that lineup of wonder girls.
Disbandment song.
Wonder girls - why so lonely was a banger then and its still a banger now one of the best songs they ever released tbh.
Fx - 4 walls. I mean its personally my favourite title track from them.
4minute - i actually really liked hate and didnt understand why it got hate when it came out tbh.
Snsd - all night i actually love this song although it kind of reminds me of fx song called the same name which i feel they lowkey did that 80s synth sound a bit better.
2ne1 - goodbye i mean really, hey least we got a disbandment song unlike most YG artist that disbanded under them. But i feel liek this wasent the end for 2ne1 i feel like we where actually meant to get a song and a video from 2ne1 before there contracts where up.

Although I disagree that SNSD should be in bottom in their vocals. I honestly think that they’re not in the top spot either. Too much unnecessary members and very redundant roles on a 9-member group imo. But I’d put them in top3 the least.

I discovered KPOP in Feb 2023 with TREN-D. Then Blackpink and then (drumroll) I found 2NE1. I am a Blackjack and a Daraling. Trouble with comparing to 2NE1 is they are not one-trick-ponies. Three of the 4 rap (see clap your hands), all 4 have great vocals (see their acoustics like lonely), their choreography seems so-so until you watch a live performance and watch them move separately then coming back together with the music. This is planned and practiced. The 4 members fill the stage and hold your eyes. Stage Presence thy name is 2NE1. Oh yes, "Goodbye" was not a disbanding song. It was a song of mourning for Minzy being driven out of the group by YG.

Im a blackjack first and foremost i love 2ne1 and everything they have done. But even i know snsd and wonder girls have a special place in kpop.
Anyways i would rank them like this.
Concepts.
Fx - sorry as much as i love 2ne1 fx had such a fun concept espically there last 3 albums they where actual magic not only the concept but just everything they did fit so well togther.
2ne1 - okay there concept for the girl crush thing was very very clearly definied from the start and they have done it the best since they made it a mainstream concept.
Wonder girls - there retro concept is actually magnificent as well as there band concept.
Snsd - they changed concept alot but eventually they came full circle to there original girl next door concept although i think Genie as a concept and song is one of the best kpop songs and concepts done in the whole of kpop.
4minute - they where very hit and miss with there concepts they started girl crush but changed throughout the years but they ended up hitting home run after home run during there later half of there career with there concepts it just took them a bit to long to find there signature sound amd style.
Visuals - all because i love all of there visuals for diffrent reasons, 2ne1 and 4minute had more edgy looks espically during concepts like i love you and i am the best for 2ne1 and 4minute with crazy and hate. Wonder girls and snsd had very typical girl group looks which i loved. Fx had a nice blend of edgy but also classic visuals, the edgy looks being amber where as Krystal and sulli had that classic SM vibe to them.
Dance.
Snsd - sorry to say but snsd had some of the best choreography amongst 2nd gen girl groups and very early on as well if you actually watch the stage performance for into the new world that shit is considered one of the hardest choreographys in the whole of kpop and i mean have you attempted to try and learn there dance for catch me if you can you will actually have a new respect for them after that song.
4minute - i agree with you in they where probably the only girl group to get 3rd gen choreography amongst all there pairs in this video and they pulled it of really well. Especially hate i love that dance its so crazy that it flopped that hard.
Fx - im only ranking them higher then 2ne1 because 4 walls was such a great choice of song and choreography that it does everything better then 2ne1s choreography ever did.
2ne1 - not as dynamic in there dance moves more focused on there stage presence and swag which really sets them apart from most other girl groups.
Wonder girls - they never really relied heavily on dance heavy songs although love you like money is a fun dance they succeed the most in hook dances which was a lot of fun.
Rap.
2ne1 - 4minute.
2ne1 had CL and minzy. CL is the best kpop idol rapper ive ever heard, i put her above even Gdragon. And minzy was a good lead rapper who could hold her own on a track as well.
4minute had Hyuna who was a rap beast and jiyoom
