Better yet lets look outside our little world and consider Dakar Rally 9,000 miles. Trumps the Baja by 9x. Everyone who heard that statement made knew they were talking about in the states and we all had the Baja 1,000 jump into our mind when it was made. Of course either you were not able to deduct this yourself in the few seconds following the statement or just think everyone else is as slow as you as to point this obvious comparison that had nothing to do with out of the country races. Maybe your just a young guy and I hope you are that would explain this comment or by your name maybe a Mexican fanboy trying to compare something out of 3rd world Mexico to something out of the states. Ive heard trophy trucks are upwards of 8000lbs. Thats 4 tons. They probably just rounded up.
Dakar T4 trucks weight around 9- 9.5 tons, that's with all the equipment, spare parts and tires, 3 crew members and 1000 liters of diesel..
No way these trophy " trucks" weight 4 tons. There just isn't anything in the construction of the truck as a whole to add up to that kind of weight.
