1958 Chevrolet Superior school bus Vintage Hippy Bus

Check out my other videos of vintage cars, mobile homes, and houses. This is a 1958 School bus originally used in Alamota Kansas and then converted into a camper after 1972. It has a bit of a Jesus Freak theme to it. It appears the first repaint was a burgundy bottom with the roof about the same color as the bottom is now. This school bus is completely rust free and is very original mechanically.

Beautiful bus. The body was a Pathfinder by Superior. I am no sure when did Superior quit making the Pathfinder. But i call this thing a real bus. I am glad that these are being saved from the scrap yard.

Beauty! I just acquired a gorgeous 1959 Viking short bus in amazing original condition, except the right side of the windshield. I will be putting it onto a 1990 Chevy Silverado dually chassis (same wheelbase) complete with the 454 big block. It should be on the road by next summer.
i will post vid soon, and as it progresses. I have no shop to work in, but it's been and exceptionally mild winter so far with no snow so can still keep at er. Cheers from Kamloops B.C. Canada!
