Great haul! I completely relate to feeling subpar about reviewing books, but I like your reviews on the Red Rising series so far. You’re clearly speaking from a reader and fan perspective and not so much an academic one, which I enjoy. I look forward to your thoughts on Tad Williams. He’s one I need to try. I’ve read the first book in Evan Winter’s series, but I didn’t like it enough to read the second entry. I do plan to revisit whenever the third book is released.
Hell yeah, dude. Much appreciate the feedback on that. I’m excited to branch out in the next couple of years. I can’t say that I’ll be getting to those this year just because my schedule is already so packed with things I planned to read. Both “Memory, Sorrow, and Torn” and “The Burning” are decently high priority though. I’m most excited for Evan Winter’s stuff because of that fast-paced revenge story aspect.
