The beasts human form is definitely why Flynn Rider was created in the way he was. For those who dont know, the "prince" in Tangled, Flynn, was created by the animators making about 50 sketches and displaying them for all the women in the office to get together and point out what they found most attractive. Turns out men who arent into men dont make drawings of hot men in the eyes of people who do like men (if that makes sense). Hence why Flynn is one of the most attractive Disney characters.
Tbh I thought the human form of beast was really attractive, very roman like nose, strong jaw, luscious hair and broad muscular chest.. id have been dragging him to the bedroom straight away

She was rather lenient considering she was willing to take a beard as a compromise. Also, Belle was probably the only woman in her village who COULD read XD
Actually, female literacy was fairly high in France from the Medieval period. Women needed to be able to read the Bible in order to properly raise their children, you see. They didn't need to be able to write, though.
Ironic considering the story would have taken place at the time the book originally came out, and it was written for women readers so the fact the tale lasted so long was BECAUSE women can read at the time.

(he also animated Tarzan years later) the fact that we're freaked out is because 1- lighting (his face is revealed lit from below) and 2- unfamiliarity. imo from all the beauty and the beast movies i've seen the disney one is easily the most well done and Belle is simply uncertain instead of, like in the cocteau one, almost disgusted lol but that's the thing, in media the beast is so carefully crafted and brought to life, a human just can't compare. irl it would just be a horrid mangy thing that smells hence the original fairytale

For a moment I literally thought it was about the Beast turning out to be a woman as a fun lesbian plot twist....
that moment when i feel so dissapointed when beast transformed back into his human form i realized that was my monster fucker awakening
LMAO NOT ME JUST WATCHING THIS CLIP IN MY ANIMATION CLASS YESTERDAY- everyone was roasting how they animated the beast and shit it was bad-
I really like your Belle outfit!
Hope you have a great day Stanzi!
stanzi's costuming for this sketch is first class.
You know... I get it Belle.
Like, is he handsome as a human? Sure.
But the Beast is better than the Guy. Sounds cooler, looks cooler, and has talking furniture. The Guy just has people that work for him. That's fucking lame. I want talking furniture.
I love both outfits!❤
To be fair
The human version was underwhelming 😬
It was obvious they designed his beast form first and his human form second because his beast form is more attractive.
Belle realizes that she's a furry...
Ok but I saw something about the thing is that Beast’s human form has black features but a light skin tone and the design would have been better for the features if he had darker skin
Hobestly..? We got to know the beast more than the man.
Thatd not who he is inside, he already shown who he was inside AS a beast
