Returning mine, What Segway failed to share is that they have place a hard limit to the map range boundaries. If you buy a 1/4 model, you can’t map past that. My lot is 1/4 plus 200feet. I can’t map my full property because of the extra 200 feet. So I have to remap and cut corners so I won’t go over the 1/4 acres. I thought maybe map two separate zones, but nope! You can’t go over at all the 1/4 total. Just another way to force you to buy a more expensive robot.
Interesting product for people who would like one. I wonder if they could just give the owner a "Mapping Stick" by turning the mower on and let the owner push and walk the mower more accurately around their own yard instead of remote controlling it.
@@tneper , the limit is software based as stated. Don't be like some buyers who had the idea of buying with the intent to mow more than the specs state. It will not! They then proceed to complain 'the limit aint real'.
I read somewhere that it the i105 accept to mow 600m2 after that it refuses to add mapping My map here is for 510m2 ant it does it, the sole worry I have is that it need to charge again a lot of time to complete it, and I think that the batterie will need to be changed every two years on my own schedule
This review leaves out a lot of the hard realities dealing with mower set up. If you do exactly what is described here, THE MOWER WILL NOT WORK. I have been working for 3 days trying to set up the mower. I have followed every step. I have contacted Amazon, they gave me a Navimow tel #. Segway Navimow does not respond or return the call. You are on your own, with foggy instructions. I love the concept, but good luck getting assistance if you need it. I will probably have to return it.
Andrew, Do a test of the Navimow in the fall. I would like to see how it handles all the leaves.
That is a good point - I wonder if the leaves would throw it off
WILL THE BLADES KEEP TURNING WHEN IT GOES FROM ZONE TO ZONE (IN THE CHANNEL)?

Not cool for sure - but great robot otherwise

It is pretty easy to control - you can also adjust the map after if needed
If it can return to charge and resume cutting, is the extra $300 really worth it for the 1/4 acre model even if you have a larger lawn?
I think the acrerage is total - now how much per cut
@@Kitearmy I see, so the price difference isn’t just a different size battery, they’re not the same machine?
@@tneper I think the limitation is a software limite - not real. I would give the smaller size a try though

It seems light weight compared to some other robots. Like it!
Yeah - I have tested other models that are much heavier
Is there any way to test your sky coverage/obstacles for the GPS module before you take the plunge?
just have nice clean sky views - and like in the US
My current yard has 0.005 acre of lawn. Which robot should I get?
is that 218 square feet?
@@Kitearmy yep, probably closer to 200. And that’s stretching it somewhat.
My previous lawn (last year) was 1/3 acre! Just sold my Ego Select!
A Segway!! Sweet! How do you ride it? 🤔
Sorry - you have to be 36" to ride :)
What are the major differences between the 105 and 110?
yard size
How would it do on incline?
They claim it can handle pretty step slopes - my guess is that is true
30% incline or 18 degrees Segway say!
Very cool! I'm surprised Ego hasn't come out with one yet.
Me too - I don't think it will be long
Do you have the EGO RM yet?
Honestly - I didn't even know that they had a robotic mower
@@Kitearmy somebody on the ego forum just got sent one, and there is one TH-cam video for it.
Rm 4000 I think
@@JasonCarmichael I saw a video of it - I wonder if it will be powered by the 56v battery?
How loud is it compared to other RMs?
Very quiet, rated at low 50 db. I have had mine for a month and you cannot hear it at all.
