Wunderschöne Interpretation dieses romantischen und fein komponierten Konzerts mit klarem und zugleich anmutigem Klang des genialen Soloklaviers sowie zurückgehaltenen und zugleich perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt lyrisch. Der intelligente Maestro dirigiert das ausgezeichnete Orchester im gut betrachteten Tempo und mit künstlerisch kontrollierter Dynamik. Wahrlich hörenswert!
The passage at 15.10 in the 2nd movement is heavenly. Sterndale Bennett falls into that unfortunate group of composers whose music 'went out of fashion,' Granville Bantock also comes to mind - though a different generation. There are many, many gems to be found and all credit for the upload.
