We went to Hershey every year when I was a kid! When I was a kid they used to tour the real chocolate factory. Now that was an intense chocolate smell!
Trivia: Milton Hershey was suppose to be on the Titanic but left a few days earlier on the America ship.

From a Marylander... there is only ONE old bay classic seasoning but there are many other “crab” seasonings that are similar to old bay.
Felllow Marylander, I agree with that statement. JO seasoning is great too!

The trail blazer and the comet will always have a special place in my heart. Used to ride them with my parents every year starting when I was around 8. 30 years later and I am planning on bringing my own son for the first time this year.

Fun fact Nate! My aunt Maria became very close friends with one of the Hershey’s nieces, her mane was Christina Hershey. She met her when they were both working in Hollywood together for one of the studios and Christina Hershey was a stunt double for wonder women but she fell and hurt her back and was never the same again so later in life she asked my aunt to move to Eugene Oregon to help her out with all her wild animals she rescued.
My aunt stayed with her and cared for her and the animals until she died. Christina and her nephew were the only living Hershey family members left so when Milton Hershey died, Christina and her nephew got a lot of the $$$$.
She was a great person and loved all animals. She had many exotic birds too. Anyway, they were best friends for over 40 years until she died of many health issues, sadly. She Bought my aunt a house and left her a lot of her estate for caring for her until she died. I never got the chance to meet her unfortunately but just thought it was an interesting story to share with you!
I can't remember the last time I was in Hershey Park. All I can pull up from my memories is my high school senior trip we took up there and I rode so many coasters. Comet, Wildcat, Lightning Racer, Speed Runner, and Great Bear. All of our teachers, principals joined us, and chaperones had a great time up there. That was back in 2009.

I was born in Reading, PA & my family on my mom's side all still live there. I used to go to Hershey Park a lot as a kid. Haven't been since 2004 (since I live in Texas). Thanks for sharing this video! I love seeing how it looks!!!!

I was last here on my 5th grade safety patrol, end-of-the-year trip. That would have been in 1967. The smell is still with me all these years later. The factory tour followed by the park was amazing.
My favorite was and still is the Almond chocolate bar.
I haven't been sense I was a child like 30 yrs iam sure so much has changed thanks for the memories.
It looks like you and your sister had a lot of fun! FYI-Old bay is a specific seasoning made in Baltimore Maryland
We use to go in the 60’s when you toured the actual factory and before single admission to park paid per ride and the only coaster was the Comet

Wooden coasters are the best! They are the perfect mix of clattering, excitement and ‘there’s a good chance we’re all gonna die’ 😂
Reese’s is the best! Got my shirt there, “you got your chocolate in my peanut butter.” And ohhh that blessed rain, seems like every time I got to Hersheypark, I get a several hour rain delay.
I haven't been on the chocolate tour since my early teens, almost 20 years ago. So want to do this and it's on my list whe. I finally take a road trip to Maine with my best friend.

I grew up going to Hershey park every year. Once I got older it became a tradition that I took my little brother every April. Just the 2 of us😊 So it’s fun to see you there with your sister. I too have since moved to Florida for Disney! Now my little brother comes down from Maryland to visit me and do all the parks here! Thanks for the video and enjoy your time with your family!!💕

Awww, our old stomping ground!! Went here every summer and winter, Candylane, for 10 years before moving to Tampa! Best coaster for me was the Storm runner! Great video again Nate!

We visited with all my children throughout the years and just recently with our youngest….it did not disappoint at all!! Such fun and truly a little “Kingdom for kids”…the theme song is the best! Hope he decides to visit Paige 😊
I have great memories taking my son to Dutch Wonderland when he was little. They just built the Cartoon Network hotel nearby.
@@scottgray4602 😯 I have never heard of that Hotel, but it sounds interesting. We used to stay at The Willow Valley Resort before Double Tree bought it….the resort is still there, but it’s just not the same 😊 Many fun memories we made in PA with my children through the years 😊
I think it would be a bit awkward for a single man to go to a kids park. But, I have amazing memories there of my grandma taking me there when I was very young and now being able to make those memories with my own kids that I pray they treasure. It's one of our favorite places but my kids are on the verge of aging out of it and I don't even want to think about it 😔
@@theresa7744 we LOVED staying at Willow Valley when I was small! They had the best smorgasbord and I have fond memories of feeding the ducks at the lake. It’s a bit of a drive from Dutch Wonderland but so adorable and quaint. I miss it 😢

My family had season passes to Hershey park when we lived in New Jersey. Such a Great park!!! We moved to Texas in 2020 just before the plague descended. We really miss Hershey park. That new coaster looked so fun. It was only mid construction last time we were there. But Hershey park has some of the best coasters in the country. Sky Rush is one of my favorite coasters anywhere. Great Bear. Storm Runner. Fahrenheit. Candymonium looked so GREAT!!!! Wow. Well we are going to have to go back for sure!!! Thanks for sharing this!!!

Cool to see you were at Hersheypark, we live a 10 minute drive away, moved from the UK last year. Candymonium, Fahrenheit and Great Bear are awesome rides, the Bear is just like Nemesis at Alton Towers back in the UK. We’d love to end up living in Orlando one day, but Hershey is a pretty great place for now 😀
I’m from PA but I’ve visited Alton Towers! That’s an awesome amusement park. The Hex & the Oblivion are still my top 10 amusement experiences for me & I’ve been to so many amusement parks across the USA including all of Disney, Universal & 6 Flags. The Hex is an unreal experience😱😛

Wonderful video, Hate! 🌹🤗🌹 We went to Hershey Park decades ago, and actually got to tour the Hershey Factory way back then. The smell of the chocolate was pretty overwhelming by the end of the tour. We got to see them make the Hershey Kisses, and were to given a souvenir of Hershey cocoa at the end. 🌰🌰🌰 Looking forward to your further adventures in Pennsylvania, and God bless you! 🤗🤗🤗

I was so young first time I went to Hershey - at the time you could tour the ACUTAL factory - I remember so well the vats of mixing chocolate. The trolley tours they offer from there are great too!!! And lots of candy on the tour.
I went here last fall for Halloween. So much fun. Definitely check out the Hershey Hotel and Lodge if you haven’t! 😎👍

45 years ago I was there with my in-laws my father-in-law bought tickets for all of us to go to the park he got upset at one of his sons and we walked into the front of the park he got mad and we left I never got to go any further into the park but the front gate
