Loved this! I would also love more videos about capable kids and how you go from toddler to capable bigger kid (especially with tips from when your older kids were little and you didn't have big kids to help). Another thing I'd love to hear more about is what kind of child care help you use (how do you find/vet them, how often do you use them, and how much do you pay/how do you budget for them). Nobody ever wants to talk about that but with two working parents (remote or otherwise) and multiple kids it's next to impossible to not have help.
I agree! I don’t have kids yet but as someone who was ‘babied’ through high school (didn’t even do my own laundry until college 😅🤦♀️) I’d LOVE to see some tips at raising capable kids! It’s so great that her children can be self reliant.
I was just diagnosed with ADHD yesterday morning. I would LOVE to hear all your ADHD specific tips and tricks for being productive throughout the day. I’m sure your general tips apply, but would love to hear if you have anything specific to Neurodivergence that you could share. I really struggle with feeling overwhelmed as freezing.

I’d love some more information / transparency on the help / assistance you have in raising a big family. I know you’ve spoken about using babysitters short term and long term (like weekends when you’ve gone away on trips) but this is the first time I think I’ve heard you mention a nanny. Any other domestic support too? What are your arrangements? What do you value in different types of services? How do you budget for it?
I’d also be keen for a separate video on ADHD: how you experience it, your masking, your coping methods, strategies for routines and organisation, how it affects your sense of self and your relationships. 🙏
It would be wonderful if schools down south started at 9 am or so. Our schools start at 8 am sharp. Parents who have to commute to work are up at 5 am or a little later to get ready for work, get kids ready for school and dropping them off to get to work by 8 am at some jobs.
This is not every school where she lives. I live in the same area/school district as her and schools have to have staggered start times due to lack of staffing for bus drivers and lack of enough buses. We also live in an area that has a lot of elementary school and tons of kids. So they stagger start times for elementary schools. Some start at 8am (my kids go at this time) and some start at 9:15am. But it's different for every school around here.
I'm an early riser, wake up at 4am no matter what time I go to bed. It does help me to get things done and have my alone time with God and prayer. I love watching your kids help with cooking etc. Well done!
I want to see a whole day of you doing all your Blocks and handling interruptions and unexpected things that come up and whether you stay on track.
Scripture morning made me laugh. It’s sometimes good to remember some parts are serious but you gotta throw in the fun too!

Love watching your kids. They seem happy and independent. Never see your kids look unhappy. Isn't it something when your kids discover your Secret Closet with toys??? My grandson discovered a firetruck in my toy closet, when he was a toddler, and couldn't understand why I didn't take the box off of it.
I'd love to see more about education/raising kids & family rules! You seem to be such a great mum!! ☆

That feels like a LOT to get done before school! How much time do your kids have between waking up and leaving for school? Very productive!
Mac with the dog was sooo adorable at the table!!! I love a Burmese Mountain dog and you have two beauty’s!!! I feel it’s so important for children to have a dog or cat as they grow up as they always have that unconditional friend and companion to play and talk to, as well as learning to care and treat animals correctly!
I'd love to see a video about any tips/tricks you have for pets. With two big dogs in a 10-person household you must have some good ones!
I cant believe theyre toddlers already! I feel like you JUST had them! More conversations about your ADHD would be interesting and how you overcome to stay productive and positive. :)
Our mornings are pretty similar, but my 4 year olds (we adopted 2 boys through foster care and they are only 6 weeks apart) are like Mac and usually wake everyone up before our alarms can go off. Independent breakfast and lunch (we homeschool) and then I make dinner. My big kids are 12, 11, and 9. They help so much!
Would love to see a video about the do’s and don’t when you have adhd. For yourself and tips for others.

I’m also diagnosed ADHD and I totally relate to the movement helping you concentrate. I was doing some work for my husband on the computer yesterday (standing up of course) and realized I was doing a full on dance routine. It just helps my brain stay focused for some reason. Chewing gum also helps!
What time do your kids go to school? Our kids have to be on the bus between 6:50-7, and at school by 7:30. I wish we had so much morning time. 😄

I thought the same thing! Our schools start at 7:45 so we are up at 6:00.

Same here, Jordan wakes up the same time that my kids are getting on the school bus!
I think she was dropping them off around 9 am or a bit after. I was thinking that was late too!!
My kids start school at 7:55 and finish at 2:30. They are elementary students, and we live in Florida. Start times are different depending on the town. Our middle school kids and high school all have different times in my town because we share busses.
My kiddos have already started school by the time she wakes up, lol! 7:25am start time for elementary schools 😴
For a comparison here in the North Yorkshire, UK our eldest kids (12 and 16) start senior school at 8.20am and the younger one (9) starts 8.45! Eldest two finish at 2.30 and youngest at 3.00 :)

Wow, the kitchen/laundry room renovations are really coming along (more than halfway at this point?). The next obvious video has to be after the reno is done and you give the full tour of the new kitchen and laundry room. Keep it up!!!
As to why the dogs smell like smoke, I would chock it up to the recent wildfire smoke in New Mexico drifting into Utah.

My mom's eldest brother (78) has ADHD, he never got "treatment" for it, or a therapist and we have just accepted that that's the way he is. He does cope with it really well, though, and I think you do too! Mom comes from a family from 10 kids. That is why I love watching you guys & other large families. As a grandchild, my cousins were always at grandma's house, so she got double the fun. LOL
I want to know how you organize summer plans, camps, swim team, etc.

Hello from Germany! It’s funny to hear „German Pancakes“. 🤣 In Germany they‘r called „Pfannkuchen“. When you translate it word by Word it’s Pancake. 🫣 But the „German ones“ are not so small like „American Pancakes“ 🤣. One in one Pan. They are thinner as pancakes but thicker than crepes. My mother baked them when I was a child one day in a week with apples oder sugar and cinammon.

I'm so jealous how independent your children are! Youre such a rockstar! Ive tried so hard to get my 9 year old to adhere to a routine, be more independent, etc. It is a fight every morning to get him to brush his teeth, get dressed, etc. & if I refuse to help him he'll sit on the floor either pouting or kicking, screaming, & crying for an hour or more... same for ANYTIME I ask him to do something...
When my son was 7 he wouldn't get dressed to go to school, too busy watching morning tv. I said we were leaving in 10 minutes whether he was dressed or not. He called my bluff. When it was time to leave home, I picked him up and put him in the car in his pyjamas and drove him to school. He didn't know I had his school clothes in a bag in the car and spent the short journey thinking he'd have to stay in PJs all day. I never had any trouble with him after that, nor with his two brothers.
9 year old? please seek resources for help. What are the consequences for not following directions? You must be consistence and produce consequences else you set them up for failure. Pls share what consequences you give. Call Dr. Laura even seriously! Free help!
@@alisonhaywood8715 Mine rides the bus and I have tried to forcefully get him out the door Whenever his bus is outside and outside and because of his kicking and screaming I've had to eventually actually tell the bus driver to just go because oh because he was standing there waiting for waiting for so long While I was fighting with him... I used to do the same thing when he was a car rider, And he would get-up-and-get dressed eventually but now now that he is 130 pounds It's not that easy for me to do.

@@YHWHLovesYou I have taken him to so many places geting 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th opinions... Everyone just says he has severe behavioral issues & says "sorry for what you're having to deal with" & "I dont know how you're doing it"
Can you do a video about sleep for toddlers? Like transitioning to a toddler bed? Asking for a friend who just tried to transition her toddler a week before having a baby. 😅 I swear by your bedtime for babies video from when Mac was a baby. Just wondering if you had something for toddlers. My first kid is just a couple months older than the twins :)

you get to sleep so late in the mornings! My son gets on his school van at 7:00 and I wake him at 6:15. My daughter gets on her school bus at 7:45 and I wake her at 7:00 while waiting for her brother's van. I often go back to bed from 7:45 until 9:30 or so! :)
I do this as well! Wake the kids up at 7 for the school bus at 7 45, come home, and take a morning nap. 😴
I’m a teacher and our high school starts at 7am! My boys and I are up at 5 am.

Lol same. This is why I still only have one kid. My 3 y/o daughter has always had "low sleep needs" despite every tip/ trick/modification, etc. 🥱 She is finally starting to sleep until about 6:30/6:45am on a good day.

HI! I also have ADHD and am learning what parts of it are a gift ( rapid flow of ideas and great creative impulses and so on...and then grappling with the parts that are not a gift.... sometimes it takes me hours to do the dishes, I can't clean as I go...sometimes when I get home from a busy day it is really hard for me to focus on dinner and bedtime with the kids so everyone and everything ends up being hours late. HELP! :)). Any content and advice you can provide for this would help. I actually focus best as well when I am watching these videos while I am doing a house project. It is almost as if the show is the primary focus and the task becomes the secondary focus and gets done without as much struggle? I dunno...still learning...
