@JunKTube0 I think they should have changed the name. Evolving isn't always a good thing in my experience with metal...so many bands lost their godly legacy over the years (Deicide, Katatonia, Immortal, Napalm Death, even Celtic Frost, Morbid Angel, and Paradise Lost put out some turd-albums over the years). If a band changes their sound and image, then they should change the name in my opinion.
@@vesuviacorpseflower4828 100% Right! Why should those bands live off the reputation of albuns/demos that they relased 20+ years ago? Specially if they don´t do the same sound nowadays...it seems they do it only for the money
@@pedrofaria3887 I think that's ok (if it's done right)...if a younger audience exists and want to hear a classic album/era of a band (Deicide playing 'Legion' etc) then I think it's cool that they get a chance to experience old-school style while the musicians are still alive to make it happen. Personally, I know it wouldn't live up to the 90s era of Deicide when I saw them...but I feel that the newer fans need to see actual aggressive and a pure death metal style to see that it can be done and to inspire those 5 watching kids to pick up an instrument. Originality seems to be completely lost amongst the current waves of the underground...and those kids seeing an album like 'Legion' played live will leave lasting impact on them. What I don't like is when a band changes genres (we were death metal but now we're "atmospheric-blackened-post-hardcore-doom-grind-prog-thrash-jazz/death metal" and we're not changing the name because we established a following -haha). That's when I feel the original vision of the band is ruined...when you realize the artists are just following trends and simply enjoy being popular like they're still some teenagers in high school...I can't respect bands/people who think like that. Different genre...Different band.
This version runs around 7.7% too fast. (You can compare the pitching in "Memento Mori" on "Pentecost III".) The version with the correct speed can be found on the Internet, although this one seems easier to find for some reason.
