Was on a 6 week visit to Europe. In Germany in Cologne stayed at Irmin Schmidt's apartment he drove us out to Can's Inner Space Studio. Also in Cologne met with Uli Trepte and we went to visit Holger Czukay at his apartment. Near Mannheim we stayed with Ax Genrich at his house. We went with him to a Rock Festival in Mannheim where he played with his band RIF. I got some nice photos at that show and recorded most of the set on cassette. I think I'll have to upload that to my channel. In Dusseldorf met with Florian Schneider and stayed at his apartment. We met with Ralf and went to a disco. Next day they showed us the Kling Klang Studio. In Munich stayed at the Embryo house. That was a very exciting trip to Europe.
Very interesting. I live in NYC so no such luck, but that visit must have been something to remember. I found 'GURU GURU' purely by accident while looking for 'FAUST' vinyl & they become a favorite..The Drummer must have been a colorful guy. Take Care, Tom
I first heard them one late night on Alyson Steele's "Night Bird" show on WNEW-FM in NYC way back in the mid 70's. It was the song that begins at 10:00 here. Been a fan ever since. My favorite German band!!!! :D
I picked up a Faust Album and took a chance on guru guru Album and liked it as much that night as I liked my new Faust Album and love them ever since, Great Bunch of Guys!!!

I have been listening to Guru Guru since the mid 70's.
I am a native Texan, we're not ALL Cowboys here :)
Keep listening! :-)
