We were on a family vacation in Hawaii and stayed at the same hotel the same time the Brady Bunch was there. The Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki. The boys and girls stayed in different parts of the hotel. The dad had a suite. They were done filming by noon each day and we would see them out by the pool. As kids, we were so excited to see the Hawaii episodes on TV.
Which makes perfect sense given that the boys had more to do in the episode than the girls did.

I know right?! What a great time for tv it was in the 70s! The Bradys, the Partridges, Love, American Style, the Carol Burnett show, All in the Family, and Three's Company!
I saw them and think "Wow. They are so old" Then I remember I watched it first run. Way before reruns. Lol

Say what you may, but this was my childhood pop culture. I loved this show and still watch occasionally on Sunday's on MeTV.

Interesting note: Eve is no slouch in the real estate department. As an 11 year old she bought a Malibu oceanfront bungalow for about 60k and just recently sold it for almost 4 million.

...and let's not forget Tiger, their dog....The dog that portrayed Tiger was named "Tiger" in real life. Sadly, the original Tiger was run over by an automobile and he died of his injuries before the fourth episode, but a replacement look-alike was found.

If they keep the exterior of that house and make the inside look exactly like the Brady Bunch house did so long ago they will have a perfect tourist attraction for many years to come. That show represented decency; a concept that has been forgotten in recent years.

When the Brady kids grew up,they had all a rough time getting acting gigs due to the Brady curse,so they all had to really work hard to make it. Now,as they are older and they too see the moral decay plus their own amazement of how popular the show was,and reunions,they all now realize how lucky they were to be a part of the Brady bunch. A show that actually had morals.

Kinda cool that the siblings finally all came back together for a reunion. I remember previous reunions always had one or two of them missing due to personal or timing issues.

So iconic. I was born in 1972, and my siblings and I grew up watching reruns of this show. Simpler better time.
The Interior of the Brady Bunch house was first used in MANY episodes of the TV Series MANNIX.
I saw it on Mission Impossible. Stage 5 Paramount studios. the dressing rooms were right across the alley.
1970s was my era for TV shows the Brady Bunch I love then I love now I seems to me it was a good TV show every day of the week no cable that's what made so good living in LA Chanel 2-4-7 but The Brady Bunch I of my all-time favors shows every Friday nite live forever Brady Bunch Groove man!

When Maureen gets together with women news reporters, their voices all go up like the cool girls in the cool clique, trying to outdo each other socially. Eve just answers questions thoughtfully and honestly. If the two aren’t great buddies, that’s totally why. I would definitely be friends with Eve.
Even though everyone thought Marcia, Marcia, Marcia was the perfect one, I wanted to be like Jan. I thought she was so cool!

The interior is mirrored from the exterior. I have always noticed this even when I used to watch it back in the day. On the exterior shot the upstairs bathrooms is on the left but in the interior shots the bedrooms is on the right. Or is it just me.

That staircase does not meet current building code. They will have to play a sneaky game of bait and switch with the building inspector to get a permit. They'll have to install a code compliant railing and fill the gaps between the steps to get the certificate of occupancy. Then after they have that, they'll be able to remove the extra stuff so it matches what was in the TV show.

It is interesting that Eve Plumb has kept all the Brady memorabilia, considering that over the years she has been the most difficult member of the cast to get to participate in most of the reunions.
