Like comparing apples and oranges. The series was a comedy with plenty of silliness, but not a parody or satire of anything, and they did take on serious subjects here and there. It was also quite original and fresh for its time. It was considered somewhat groundbreaking to feature a blended family on television in the late 60s/early 70s. The movies obviously were parodies and as such appeal to a different kind of comedy aesthetic. Deeming one “better” over another seems pointless. The movies would never have happened were it not for the classic status of the original.
The role of Cindy in the Brady Bunch movies should have been given to Miss Tulare County 2008, Summer Loftis, for she has blue eyes and is of a similar age.
"Clouds never laughed before, and beanstalks never grew" - oh my gosh, I HATED that song. Sounded stupid. Then again, it was a Brady Bunch type of song - although the TV show is alright.
