- World Exclusive: Full Interview: Emotional Mohammed Shami says, "Will do anything for my daughter"
Dismissing all the allegations leveled on him by wife Hasin Jahan, an emotional Mohammed Shami made an appeal through ABP News of resolving all the disputes and get back to his family as soon possible.
In a heartfelt emotional interview with ABP News, Shami tried to clear the air and resolve the matter with his wife Hasin Jahan.
“I’m devastated, the allegations came as a shock to me, I will still stand as a wall to protect the image of my wife and daughter. I don’t think anybody can understand what I’m going through right now. I can only hope that she understands my side of the story and resolves it,” Shamit told ABP News in an exclusive interview.

I really hope that Shami can prove his point, his innocence. He is such a gentleman of this game cricket. I am not judging her, but if she can't prove her point she should be punished by law.

As always most people are blaming her instead of him ! Everyone should appreciate her move not blame her. She is very courageous. There are so many other women who can’t even say anything in these kind of situation cause of social and family pressure.

So, there is no objection per se to Hasin coming forward and telling her story. But, the allegations that she has leveled on Mohd Shami, need to be proven in a court of law.
Since the allegations originated from her, it’s logical to state that she bears the burden to prove them in a court of law. And, it’s equally logical that Shami is innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. It’s not on Shami to disprove the allegations that originated from his wife.
While I understand that people are entitled to form an opinion and take sides, I think it’s best that we refrain from arriving at any judgement absent a court verdict. Yes, there are serious allegations leveled by Hasin, but Shami is innocent unless proven guilty. That’s the principle of jurisprudence. If she can prove the allegations in a court of law, then the world will have to accept that Shami is guilty. Of course, Shami can appeal the verdict and if that gets reversed, the world will have to accept that. In other words, this matter should go through the legal system and then only we will know the truth. And, that’s because Hasin has ruled out intention to settle the matter.
Guyzz shami is innocent as there is no video clip or any prove still not found by investigation. ..as she is model she knew these kinds of things very well to use it..shami bhai we are with u...
