We are also having this nexon ev but we charge it with our solar roof top and have put a solar roof top on top of the car and that helps us even more,Our weekly twice run is 1400 kms up and down from Hyderabad to Vijaywada
Yes, EV mein jyda chalte hai tyre because break use nahi hoti, motor ke KERS technology se car motor ke thru hi slow down hokar slow hoti hai and there is no pressure on the tyres everytime you slowdown your vehicle, thats why there is no tyre depreciation. I am using MG ZS ev, 25k kms where tyre surprisingly still looks new. Whereas my other pertrol/deisel cars tends to demand a replacement of tyres upon completing 35-40,000 kms
But they have a high torque and continuous torque through the entire "Rev" range.. So, they generally tend to degrade a lot faster than regular car tires, isn't it??

In a regular course of life, specially on long drives, to save the battery power, I or anyone else in the world, drives their EV mostly in eco mode which tends to save the tyre from high torque thing. Whether or not, we have a fast charger ahead, we all still drive in eco mode much as possible.
I think the tyres are preserved in this EV because the owner drives very slowly and steadily (without rapid acceleration and deceleration, and stopping).
It has been thought of before. It's very costly to do, and the car will only get charged for some 50-60 km range after a full day. It's easier to use home charger.
Nice information. This will certainly boost confidence in EV. But it is difficult to understand how a vehicle can run 160000 kms without tyre replacement.
My nexon ev has completed 67000 and has replaced 2 tyres at 50000 in insurance due to footpath incidence, but trust me you can not differentiate the new tyres from old tyres, one thing I must say tata provides the best quality tyres (Goodyear for my nexon ev) and also an electric tyre inflator and liquid in case you have no puncture shops for long distance.
It is possiable because in general case bracking is not required . there is 3 regenartion mode , whenever pull leg from accelerator then bracking automatically applied as per regeneration mode ( mechanical enegery convert into Chemical energy in form of battery) which save tyre from road friction and same time save brack pad also

Meri xuv500 2012 model ke 85000 pe badal diye the around 30% bache the tyre But highway running ke kaaran change kar diye ,chal jaate around 120k Currently fortuner ke 65k orignal ( yokohama changed from bridgestone at new )tyre hai easily 90k chal sakte hai So lot depends on driving style
This is a very good vehicle. Cheap to run, low maintenance, tension free. Driving is effortless. It is better than CNG vehicles. Indians should buy Tata Electric Vehicles instead imported ones.

(false claim in this video about tyres) 5. need to educate yourself how each charger works. 6. charges are not maintained, or it's down. 7. Need to drive between 70 to 80km/h to get good range. 8. wasting time in charging stating. 9. Charging speed is low when outside temp is very high.

I own a tiago ev , done 10,000 kms, i hardly use the brake even though i drive in hills only , the regeneration braking is very strong , u hardly need to use the brake , only in emergency, u need to press the brake. Ev's are perfect for hills, only in cold winter, battery consumption increases by 5-6 % , Update. Done 21,000 kms , no problem so far.
