Yes they often do and that can play a part in the method and location chosen. For example, I’ve seen people take a shotgun to their head in the family living room - this type of method is often to send a message/make a statement. The method in the video was the opposite. I always considered it a privilege to be there for the body and to show compassion and dignity in their final act. It’s an honour to me.
Someone is suffering so bad that they decide to end their life and the only thing you can think of is how selfish they are for leaving their dead bodies for someone else to find... WOW.

Frankly there's too much evidence we're not aware of to make the case it was murder and suicide is just easy for the authorities to handle, simply wrap 'em up and send them home, no investigation, less bodies involved, less funds spent, etc. The officials reported it as suicide- but authorities are rarely the optimal source of correct information; most authorities fudge their statistics to improve their own competence; for example if there was a gang of mountain rats (or worse, a global crime syndicate branch like the Triads) and the police have left them to roam around the forest, it would make the local police and park rangers (or Taiwanese equivalent to rangers/anti-poachers/wardens) look incredibly incompetent or it could spark an internal investigation, which is bad if anyone is doing anything at all, like taking bribes or charging more for tickets, planting evidence, etc, etc, thieves will work together to cover everyone, as long as it saves them as well. It's done quite often, in every country, unfortunately, by announcing this as a suicide, it's not a crime statistic that will reflect on the local municipality and thus won't affect their funding or put more work on people's already stretched time and energy. Most, if not all, government branches are underfunded at all times, it's a constant battle to get more money to spend and keep the populations content and away from rebellion. It's like how the US tends to cover up how more than 56% of violent crime is caused by black males who make up 8% of the US population- that makes them over a hundred times more dangerous than Pitbulls, yet Pitbulls are illegal- there is always an agenda and a reason for authorities to manipulate statistics. As someone who has attempted suicide and had a NDE; I can tell you for a FACT that suicide is NEVER THE ANSWER! There is a new and very rapid depression treatment now called ketamine, it works within hours! Please get help in anyway possible if suicidal. Thank you for the work that you are doing!
In the book After, The author Dr Bruce Greyson studied NDEs for decades. He interviewed people who had survived a suicide attempt. He was surprised that despite the “other side” being so wonderful and inviting, the survivors felt sure they had to finish their lives here , find a meaning for themselves. I hope you are well. ❤
The paper can be called spirit money/hell money/paper money which imitation paper money burnt as an offering at a funeral, or at a ritual or festival honouring ancestors, in accordance with the traditional belief that it will be used by the spirit of the deceased in the afterlife.
This century’s seems lots of people going though depression the best way to protect them from suicidal families should see or feel if anyone in your family member personality had changed like showing sad face discontent to friends or relatives and sleepless mean that person under depression don’t wait to long immediately bring that person to see Psychiatrist asap and shows more of your love and care for them
It’s not always that easy, unfortunately. People with depression are often masters at hiding their true emotions for the sake of protecting their loved ones. In addition to that, suicide isn’t always easy to see coming, as they often become joyful. This is why it’s important to reduce the stigma around mental health so that people with mental illnesses can feel as though they can talk without fear of judgement if they are struggling.
Help for mental health is so hard to get. And without help, people fall into despair and self-medicate and become addicts (will often die of eventual fentanol overdose) or can take their own lives to escape their "pain". Very sad... with the right supports, all these people could be saved and become good members of society and be loved again. The way the world is now is very sad indeed.

I am fairly new to the channel… can someone please explain the burning of the yellow sheets of paper?
It’s a form of offering to the deceased in many Asian cultures, those paper resembles currency that when burnt those money will be received by the spirits to use in where they’re going, take it as hell/heaven (or maybe I should say capital of the dead?) in Christian but with society and market and other stuffs where the spirits will continue to stay at until they’re judged by the god of the dead and reborn
Not just paper money, there’s also paper clothes, houses, cars, etc
Thank you for your response… what a wonderful tradition ❤️
也要注意自身安全,謝謝!
Your videos are so dark, great scenery and exploration, just dark themes.
I would like do more mountains video, these rescues are really too dark
Rest in peace. Covid lockdowns caused many people to have mental health issues.
謝謝🙏
你們辛苦了,謝謝你們。

辛苦你們了
Man this hurts me to say but I am ok with death, I think that me doing this as a search , and rescue now seems right. I am a hiker, and rock climber. This just fuckin kills to see this with others. I know some goto the forest to end their life, I Have been there many times ive went into the forest to commit suicide, and once I get in its like the trees talk to me, and calm me down. To know others did not feel that just hurts me deep for some reason. I know they pain they where going through, and I understand it.
it is better go nature, absorb, and get back
I like running or hiking, without that will be hard to get over some daily troubles
Keep strong. I love you ✨❤️
@@BeastRunners I been fishinglately since i no longer live by the mountains. next year im gonna go back to school in south dakota for outdoor education but I have to pay my one college thing first or they wont give me my transcirpts. But ya I really wanna go back, or move to alaska, and just be in the most remote area ever, live off the land grow all my own stuff, trade what I need from the animals I trap etc.

感謝
Thanks a lot
Hopefully they found there peace together in there special spot

絕美之地,謝謝有你,
Can someone please explain the significance and meaning of the yellow papers being burned? Thank you💔
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joss_paper
I think to alert the helicopter as to their location.
The paper can be called spirit money/hell money/paper money which imitation paper money burnt as an offering at a funeral, or at a ritual or festival honouring ancestors, in accordance with the traditional belief that it will be used by the spirit of the deceased in the afterlife.
謝謝你!跑山獸
不要把臥龍洞變成台灣的青木原樹海
Wild to see the cascading effect
Hi there, I'm very sorry for asking but hope you don't mind if i do. The bodies that were found, their cause of death is suicide?...
@@kasgarragsak9866 Unfortunately, it was suicide, yes.
@@Kumahachi8 thank you very much...

I wonder what they were burning. Looked like a bunch of papers but was it from the young couple?

So sad and horrible to find people dead. 😢 Did the three people know each other or was that a coincidence?

What if he hung her, then himself? Was there a note, why do they assume it was consensual pact? Who investigates?
official units, few months later was official and public statement that all die without help
Help for mental health is so hard to get. And without help, people fall into despair and self-medicate and become addicts (will often die of eventual fentanol overdose) or can take their own lives to escape their "pain". Very sad... with the right supports, all these people could be saved and become good members of society and be loved again. The way the world is now is very sad indeed.
why do you burn thoses pappers ? 1:51
they are kind of "money" to pay soul for better journey
This is an interesting show but the background music gets old
Turn down the sound
