I just think the sm57 looks cool and very elegant
Both mics sound great but the SM57 is the clear winner. You can't go wrong using either mic since they both provide very good audio quality.
true
Great comparison. The SM57 is a really great option. But see, something was missing: a comparison with the MV7 connected to the USB output. There is a notable difference between USB output and XLR output. Furthermore, through the USB output it is possible to activate a compressor point and also turn on the limiter, making the sound a little softer. Another thing: in practical use for voice recording, videos, podcasts, voiceover, the SM57 would necessarily need a popup filter or use a plosive protective foam. And that would certainly make the sound a little different. I think that under these conditions their sound would be VERY similar.
That is true, I don't know why I have not also demonstrated the MV7 via USB... my bad.
But you can check out other videos of me where I did in fact check out the USB sound of the Shure MV7 :)
@@floriangladis For sure! I just signed up =)
@@adrianomoreira1341 Thank you, means a lot :)
Excellent comparison
thank you :)
Helpful--thanks!
good job bro~
You make the 57 look cool on stage by being Spinal Tap.
lol
Audio interface use?
Audient ID14
comparing mics ... does not use original pop filter
why?
Original pop filter is trash, but I honestly forgot about it, because I replaced it as soon as possible and never looked back.
May I ask which headphones are you using?
Sennheiser HD560S :)
@@floriangladis thank you
Did this guy just say the SM57 can only do "one thing"?!
Well, technically it can only do one thing. :D
It is up to the user to create.
