Just imagine from the first story. You get so tired from driving so much that you hallucinate a random person. Then you go into the interview and the interviewer is that same person you hallucinated before. I would have done the same thing that person did. That's super creepy.
My first thought when hearing that story, as a person who has done several long haul drives... that's just delirious hallucinations.I've been there. Especially when doing a 21 hour drive straight.
I guess it depends, but it does happen. I have been up for 30 hours a couple times and didn't hallucinate. I felt very weird though. It is not good for the brain that's for sure. Here's an interesting thought, we as humans go to sleep to stave off going clinically insane😁. All we can do is reset the timer though before drifting back into delirium.
And this is precisely why I say it is perfectly okay to be paranoid. I have been told many times that I can't live my life being paranoid but if I was the lady in the last story and some creepy dude at the bar was telling me about some shady motel, I'm not gonna go to that shady motel. I'm going to go to a different motels that's further away that the dude didn't suggest because now you have some creepy dude that knows where you're at

Not surprising. She ran back to her room after getting the Wi-Fi info - she wasn’t looking at the ground then because she wasn’t suspecting anything. And she barely made it to that motel; how much farther would she have been able to drive? Hindsight is always 20/20. Mr. Nightmare has become a timeless classic TH-cam channel. Been around fir many years and the quality of videos has never faltered. Keep up the great work 👍
The first story reminds me of the One Story from "The Twilight Zone". A woman who was already dead runs from a Man in a Suit until she realises that he is Death and came to pick her up.

Third story is more scary than 1st one for me it reminds me like in wrong turn they flat the car tyre and then come with old pick up truck to kill that person
I got paranoid that the men were all working together. They could be running a human trafficking ring out of the motel. I dont think I would trust it if the motel owner started "calling over his friend"

The mysterious man appearing over and over again is so creepy. I'll definitely be more cautious when driving at night now. Getting your tire slashed and narrowly avoiding potential danger is terrifying. Night drives already make me uneasy, but hallucinating a strange man inside your car is next level scary! I used to think stopping at cheap motels on road trips was no big deal, but after hearing about the possible intruder, I'm rethinking that. When it did, he offered help, but was accused by a raving, paranoid lunatic instead. Your biggest issues from cheap motels will be hookers, junkies, and bedbugs. Go to a nicer one every time. @WinWhistIeryeah and there's this weird guy up in Sandy who lives in a trailer near the gas station... I think his name was... Phil? Or Travis? I can't remember something with a T and P
I'm right next door in Elk County. I lived in Clearfield County more than half of my 46 years and I was a little stumped on where this would be also. Maybe out around DuBois or possibly around Frenchville? Not a clue.
Last summer my buddy and I took a trip to Florida from North Carolina at night and we decided to have this genius idea of taking back roads once we got deep into South Carolina. Of course we listened to Mr. Nightmare and other horror stories on the way... Well.... the trip actually went fine and the only thing that freaked me out was the giant bull i saw on the edge of someone's yard... it was literally just chillin there, starting at the road!😂
2:39 I was gonna mention how nice the fact there were visuals for the story but then I remembered-- All of your videos do this. I always forget how much work gets un-noticed in these videos. 👍
In the first story I expected him to finally approach the strange man to ask if he needed help only for the strange man to ask "Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon?" EXTREME bonus points to anyone who gets that reference haha
7:02 You really captured the tone of what that person was feeling with the mini gulp/very bamboozled reaction to narrate that sentence. Great work as always man
Been listening to Mr Nightmare since I was a kid, I remember hiding under the covers or closing my eyes when I was younger due to being too scared to continue the video. I don't do that anymore but I still miss the old days, the younger me, always being scared shtless just by being 10 seconds into one of these videos. Will continue watching until the day you stop uploading like Don't Turn Around. Been a supporter since day1 and will be a supporter until the last day.
I love mr nightmare but if you want very very consistent content then UNIT#522 has it all. Though I get very excited when mr nightmare posts a new video, because I have watched all 500+ videos of his about 15 times each…..
The third story was really creepy. I never would have taken Todd’s advice and tried to get to one in town. It sounded too much like a setup. I hate motels where they open directly to the parking lot. Too many people can see where you’re staying. I used to travel a lot for work and I try to stay away from sketchy places.
Perfect day for Mr. Nightmare🤩 . I literally was just binge watching you & i get a notification u uploaded😭 its a PERFECT day so far 💪 stay blessed everyone 🙏 fall and spooky 👻 szn are on the waaaaaay! 🥰🧡
That first story reminded me of an old episode of The Twilight Zone called The Hitch hiker. A lady traveling cross-country keeps seeing the same man hitch hiking repeatedly along her journey.
🚗🚨The first story had me on the edge of my seat! 😱 Anyone else felt a shiver down their spine?Who would've thought that hallucinations can be so strong? 🌒
Also why would he see the man and not the woman in his hallucinations? I feel like it could've been a message from higher up to not get that job specifically, good thing he landed that other job with the woman...
I actually enjoy late night drives, I also do them practically every night, but I do occasionally have that fear in the back of my mind that something scary could happen on one of those late night drives
Story 1: You’re better off stopping at a hotel earlier but farther away from your destination. Then get up earlier in the morning and make the rest of the drive.
I don't know if there are any older sources but Mr Nightmare is fantastic. I've been seeing lots of similarly structured pages with different narrators. I'm assuming they're Copycats, but none have this normal, calming, down to earth voice, and most if not all have inferior visuals as well.. Thank you for phenomenal work, Mr. N!
Mr Nightmare your stories are always so good and understanding, due to the fact that whatever happens in life you always have to make sure you are protected from any situation or any type of person.Keep up the great work👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻
On the 2nd story nobody slashed her tire. The car would have registered the loss in air pressure immediately and she wouldn't have made it far at all if her tire was slashed. She got paranoid over nothing.
Story #2. Anyone else listen to a story like this, and just can’t believe how an “adult”, who says she’s a school teacher, can actually think the way this persons thinks, and act in such a child like manner with every thought she has? Is this how young “adults” actually think these days? Is this behavior really considered “normal” these days? If so, wow how times have changed!
Story 3 - Lives in the city, yet wanders away from her motel door without locking it? I live in a fairly large town and I don't go out of sight of my front door without locking it. It's basic common sense/security.
Love his channel! I listen to him while I sleep and work. Lol. And I'm listening to this episode while I have to drive to work, to do a Graveyard shift

2:39 I was gonna mention how nice the fact there were visuals for the story but then I remembered--
All of your videos do this. I always forget how much work gets un-noticed in these videos. 👍
i love night drive horror stories! i need more of these mr. nightmare
In the first story I expected him to finally approach the strange man to ask if he needed help only for the strange man to ask "Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon?"
EXTREME bonus points to anyone who gets that reference haha
Mr Ballen reference! Lol. Both him and Mr Nightmare are the best spooky story tellers!
@@brookedecker6272 haha nice
I even read this in the voice from Mr.Ballen’s video lol
Every time I forget about bells canyon, someone brings it back up 😂
Haha Mr. B!
7:02 You really captured the tone of what that person was feeling with the mini gulp/very bamboozled reaction to narrate that sentence. Great work as always man
Hey
Whoa my two favourite channels! 💊 🌿 🚬 🕷️ ⛽ 🍷 🍻 🌺
When Mr Nightmare uploads its a great day
Yes sir you can say that again

It's always good to see a mr nightmare video before hitting the bed.
I love you’re channel Mr.Nightmare!!!! You help calm my anxiety with your narrations even with these scary stories!!!
Night drive stories are the best!! It definitely feels terrifying
I actually like the Craigslist stories they feel more real and the Airbnb
@@luisthekingjaime94 forest stories can be cool too. There are so much sounds and scary things there 😱
I drive late after work
Been listening to Mr Nightmare since I was a kid, I remember hiding under the covers or closing my eyes when I was younger due to being too scared to continue the video. I don't do that anymore but I still miss the old days, the younger me, always being scared shtless just by being 10 seconds into one of these videos. Will continue watching until the day you stop uploading like Don't Turn Around. Been a supporter since day1 and will be a supporter until the last day.
Honestly one of the best and most consistent TH-cam channels ever. Mr. Nightmare never disappoints
He is not consistent wym he just started posting again recently
I love mr nightmare but if you want very very consistent content then UNIT#522 has it all.
Though I get very excited when mr nightmare posts a new video, because I have watched all 500+ videos of his about 15 times each…..
@@Mario-cuning0347 I was actually speaking about the quality of his videos, rather than how much he releases
It's a Saturday night and Imma lovin me some Mr. Nightmare time while everyone is in bed asleep.
The third story was really creepy. I never would have taken Todd’s advice and tried to get to one in town. It sounded too much like a setup.
I hate motels where they open directly to the parking lot. Too many people can see where you’re staying.
I used to travel a lot for work and I try to stay away from sketchy places.
I agree completely on her taking the guy's advice. If she got weird vibes from him, why did she even listen to what he said in the first place?
It’s always a good evening when Mr.Nightmare gets involved
100% agreed

@@andrewrogers5962 I truly appreciate this kind comment sir, stay blessed! 🙏
U 2 dating??
Im so confused here, what about this is brave lol? very sweet & positive, but brave?
You cute love I would love to take out to a horror movie
That first story reminded me of an old episode of The Twilight Zone called The Hitch hiker. A lady traveling cross-country keeps seeing the same man hitch hiking repeatedly along her journey.
Yes, I just posted this!!😂 both creepy.
It reminds me of another episode. Season 1 Episode 9, where the dudes seeing this lady in his dream and ends up seeing her in the back of his car
I love putting these on in the background while I drive. I remember it autoplayed V1 while I was out night driving, pretty spoOOooOky!
Hey, Mr. Nightmare!! Thank you for always being consistent!!
You are the man, Mr Nightmare. All three stories are great, but the first one is a mindscrew one, loved it.
🚗🚨The first story had me on the edge of my seat! 😱 Anyone else felt a shiver down their spine?Who would've thought that hallucinations can be so strong? 🌒
Twilight zone
@@foltoncalhoun1538yep. Immediately thought of that twilight zone episode.
@@foltoncalhoun1538
I like The Twilight Zone it's a very good show.
Also why would he see the man and not the woman in his hallucinations? I feel like it could've been a message from higher up to not get that job specifically, good thing he landed that other job with the woman...
Cheers to another great Mr.Nightmare video 🥂
Loving these night drive ones 😍😍😍😍 wish there were more of these
It always makes my night better when MR. Nightmare uploads. I know I'll be scared and getting ready for sleep.
"Mr Nightmare" you are the man when it comes to creepy stories my dude.😅
Thanks for always keeping us entertained.
Take Care/Stay Safe ✌
This man has been putting out content for nearly a decade this man has my total respect all the way thnk for nearly 10 yrs mr. Nightmare
That first one needs to be made into a short horror film, it's so good.
on a night drive right now listening to this. godspeed guys
Mr. Nightmare and Whispered Diaries are by far my favorite horror story channels. Some of these stories are truly bone chilling….keep them coming 👍🏽😁
That's some huge amount of bad luck for the guy in the second story.
Interesting and good stories for sure. Night time listening in the dark is the best too, so don't be scared people 😊
I've been under a lot of stress lately, but Mr. Nightmare uploading a little more often keeps me in a good mood.
Frr sameee
I actually wrote my personal horror story in an email to Mr. Nightmare a few months ago..
.. still waiting for that one....
what was the name under it? i’ll be on the lookout
@@judahbudah0 either RcDune or Ryan... can't remember what I put now haha... it was a while ago
@@rcdune7132I mean, tbf, he probably gets way to many emails about stories, so it’s probably nearly impossible to get your story in a video
@@LilGoats5868 just as impossible as everyone else who's had their story featured... just gotta be patient
I'll make a video with your story this week if you want! The email is on the channel or in the description of my videos.
Mr Nightmare your stories are always so good and understanding, due to the fact that whatever happens in life you always have to make sure you are protected from any situation or any type of person.Keep up the great work👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻
Please keep up these late night drives, I love these
These stories make me stay home forever
Driving is many times a horror story in itself 😂 please do more scary school stories and sleepover stories.
Ah this is the perfect video to listen to while on a nighttime drive
On the 2nd story nobody slashed her tire. The car would have registered the loss in air pressure immediately and she wouldn't have made it far at all if her tire was slashed. She got paranoid over nothing.
I really love these night driving stories I always go for a late night drive while listening to them
Love how interactive this video looks!
Odd as this sounds, your videos always ease my anxiety Mr. Nightmare. Thank you for your hard work. 🖤
"I almost contemplated turning around and asking if he needed a ride"
Me: "What tf is wrong with you?"
Hey Mr Nightmare, you should make horror stories about encounters with aliens since there is a lot going around now about them actually being real.
If I ever encounter aliens I hope I get a chance to show them some good music.
@@homunculusSZN show them some actually good music too, not the overrated trap trash you hear nowadays
I miss being in 8th grade, waiting in the while it rained watching Mr. Nightmare’s videos, it was something special to me.
Story 3 - Lives in the city, yet wanders away from her motel door without locking it? I live in a fairly large town and I don't go out of sight of my front door without locking it. It's basic common sense/security.
It's more than common sense - it's habit. You do it without a second thought.
Always scary! Great work Mr. Nightmare!
Watching home alone is the only way to watch Mr. Nightmare
Story one was a mix between exhaustion and being scared
Your voice is the only narrating horror story voice that’s not annoying and I can sit through hours of your vids ❤
Love his channel! I listen to him while I sleep and work. Lol. And I'm listening to this episode while I have to drive to work, to do a Graveyard shift
Jeepers! I hope you stay safe.
I enjoy his reading. I don't get scared listening to him read...unless he uses sound effects. The creepiest sounds for me are squeaky hinges, staircases, and playground swings. Those sounds ALWAYS make me nervous. 😮
The first story was just a man trying to reach him about his cars extended warranty
Love when the videos are 18 + plus minutes
Listening to this as I'm driving through the backroads that have a lot of wooded areas 😃
…. Why do you want to torture yourself like this
@Sarah-lt1ox i did thank you 🙌
@@DefinitelyNotAFerret why not? 🤗
