I’m here for the cow patty steaks 😂
Haha
I love how you show the reality of van life. 👍🏻
Thank you! It’s something we really wanted to portray! Glad you are enjoying our channel.
@@NomadicVisuals Yes I’m enjoying greatly, have been binge watching! 🥰👍🏻
@@rose2525bud thank you 🙌🙌
I really loved the video and all the great views
This was the place we were telling you about!
Dannnnggg suuuper jealous of your alls travels.
That shot going through wind river range looks unreeeeeealll!!
Haha thanks! Just hurry up and get out here already
Dogs just seem to know things, don't they? Is the survivor show you're talking about the one with Creek Stewart, "Could You Survive"? I love that show. Only problem is, it's on late on Sunday and I stay up watching it and have to get up early for work, so I'm always so tired on Mondays. It's a very educational show with real life stories. Did you know that Vaseline is a good fire starter? Never had to use it but always carry it with me. Beautiful scenery where you're at. 🐶🐾
Dogs do it’s crazy! I think it’s “Survivorman” with Les Stroud, but we will have to check out that show! We didn’t know Vaseline was a fire starter, that’s easy enough to pick up and carry with you! Good tip, thank you!
I'll have to try to find "Survivorman". I love those kind of shows. Thanks
I love watching you guys., since its my dream to leave in van life too.. for while , i would like to watch your video..
Thank you so much, we really appreciate it DJ! Make your dreams comes true!!
Got to say, the drone shots are on point to beautiful. Made me laugh with the Ninja noise..... had the same 'mature debate' with her ladyship and like Ben lost the argument. Anyhow, another good week down.
Take care, Judd
Hey, thanks Judd! I (Jelaine) will agree the noise is quite awful and worse with frozen fruit but the smoothies are sooooo good and good for you!! But the noise is short lived 60 seconds or less (depending on mode) haha!
Have a great week!
@@NomadicVisuals just a follow up, see you have tofu and noodles alot. Do you guys like creamy pasta? I can write up a vegan creamy broccoli pasta using cashews if you're interested? just need pasta, broccoli, garden peas, cashews and veg stock....... and you get to use the ninja again :-)
Hahaha! We would love that recipe! Sounds amazing 🤩
@@NomadicVisuals
4 portions of dried pasta
1 broccoli crown (cut into florets)
100g frozen peas
100g cashews
1 veg stock cube (to make 150ml of stock)
1 table spoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
2 teaspoons mustard (Dijon is best)
Dash of almond milk
-Preheat over to 180c/355F
-Mix veg stock with 150ml boiling water until dissolved
-Put broccoli into oven (drizzle with olice oil & salt) for 10-15 minutes until charred on outside but cooked in middle. Then leave to one side
-place cashews in bowl and cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 10 minutes. Then drain and added to blender with vinegar, yeast, mustard & milk and pulse until smooth
-cook the pasta according to instructions adding frozen peas for last minutes. Then drain water and place back in pan on medium heat.
-add sauce and broccoli, mix with pasta and peas for few minutes to warm through and serve.
the last four ingredients aren't essential but add to the flavour, feel free to mix them up with whatever is locally available to you
Great episode. When you leave a campsite with the van how do you know it will still be available when you get back?
Thank you! You don’t unless you bring a tent or even camp chairs and leave at your spot that way people know you are there and coming back. We’ve heard of people having their chairs stolen before.
Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing. Not sure if you are aware of the cancer causing effects of having lots of soy in your diet....not as healthy as you may realize. Gently suggesting you do some research. Have a wonderful day!
I am not. I’ve heard something along the lines of having too much soy is bad but didn’t know about cancer causing. We try to get organic and non-gmo when possible. I will have to look into that more for sure!
