You’ve GOT to be kidding me! Another ingenious method! I’m going to do layered spooky eyes stencil layered embossing on my Halloween cards. I’m dead 😵. Fascinating.
I do not know how you create unique designs and can share different designs, using fresh techniques or old ones in a way that looks new. Yet you always bring exciting, dramatic, cute, sweet or and simply great fun along with your humour to keep us on our toes and wanting more. Thank you, Therese for the time, work, planning you bring to teach us. I appreciate the blessing you are to me and my chosen expression for my own creativity. 🥰🇨🇦🥰. And I've done it again. I better read comments, then won't send along a second one. 🙄
Gorgeous cards, Therese! I really love the dark background on the first card...WOW! Thank you so much for sharing another great way to stretch our supplies...you're the BEST!!! xx
Both cards are really beautiful, but the first card on dark cardstock is truly stunning! It may have been out of your comfort zone, but it’s really incredible!
This is another new to me technique layering embossing powders. Now I must check for translucence in my powders. . I love that razzleberry colour. What beautiful colours. Thank you, Therese. 🥰🇨🇦🥰
😊 thank you, but the credit goes to Jo Herbert who is the coordinator from the WOW DT, she inspired me with my initial attempt which I think was on my last LIVE.... I haven't had much sleep so forgive me if I'm wrong (but it was definitely Jo)
Two of my favorite things: heat embossing and stencils! Combining them makes me swoon. And woke me up! (Little sleep last night.) Gorgeous card - thank you for the inspirations.
I’ve wondered about doing this and have a stencil set on my desk to try it soon…even got a stencil brush to use with my Versamark. Now I’m really inspired to try it out, thanks, Therese, for this video! 💌
Today I tried this using a stencil brush, masking off areas I didn’t want to be gold. It worked well. I brushed away a few extra embossing bits, and got gold among the colors of my design. Thanks for showing this, Therese! 💌
I only have "safe" embossing powders, gold, silver, black, white...mostly. I do have a red and green for Christmas. BUT I have a rose gold soooo I think I can try this. Thanks for stretching my comfort zone.
You can also mix it up with ink blending like I did in the second example, that way you don't 'need' any extra colours... or use ink on the background and clear emboss through the stencil for the base layer to get any colour you want.

Oh Yes! layered spooky eyes would be perfect for this technique, what a fun idea!

Thanks so much Jeanne!
Very pretty! A lot of embossing powders will say right on the container whether the powder is opaque or translucent. I wish they all did!
I totally agree, it would take the guess work out of it. thanks so much for your lovely visit!
Beautiful!
Thank you Corinne!
Beautiful Cards!!!

The dark background card makes me want to buy this stencil and die set 😂😂
Isn't it the weirdest thing how the dark blending can change the whole look of the card design!
@@lostinpaper beautiful work 😍
You always inspire me, my girlfriend calls it a crush. LOL. At least she's a good sport about it.
