Great video! I love how you capture the beauty of each place and how you notice every subtle detail, like the man sitting and drawing at the beginning. Nice channel
@@a_canaryYes, I noticed him. I love the hidden details in places and the stories they tell. Like the sand from Etnia, something I never would have imagined. I'm planning a trip for next year, and this video inspired me even more :)
@ good choice, I liked the atmosphere around, hope you will like it too, and hope you could visit more places on the island, they are definitely worth it
@@a_canary Thank you very much, very kind. I hope so too. The atmosphere really seems great. What are your top 3 favorite things and one you liked least from the trip?
@ 1- definitely Italian food 😅 and on Sicilia they have some special stuff like canole, lemon things, I’m a fan of food 2- architecture, narrow streets, roofs, basilicas, small hidden gardens and squares with fountains, everything is so cozy, mixed with nature, but so elegant and I guess every single small city has its own charm 3- volcano, I know it’s not visible as people expect, on the photo it’s like a mountain, but for me it was special, it looks like a Fuji but Italian 😁 and it’s visible from some parts of city, beach, roofs. It was bringing me special feelings, would be perfectly to climb there, I know there is climbing tours there and what I didn’t do but I bet it would be great - to take tour to cave, so beautiful on pictures. One thing that I didn’t like - there are some places that are really dirty, trash everywhere, buildings need to be restored. But it’s just small areas, not whole city, sometimes I felt like it can be dangerous to go through such places in evening, but again it’s just my feelings, maybe it’s totally safe and generally such areas exist in every big city in every country
Taormina is stunning. I have been there twice. I want to bring my children there. I like Kiko make up stores. My best friend worked in one of these stores in Rome. Pistachio McFlurry in Rome or Trieste I cannot remember. Maybe they do just in Sicily. I love pistachio as well. Venice also is beautiful, but expensive. My grandma was from a place near there. Greetings from Scotland!
@@tamarajurisic8523 wow, good choice to bring children there, yes, I really liked the Sicily, wish I could see more cities there. I love Kiko brand 😁 was great to visit the store in its original founding country. I found out about pistachio McFlurry in TikTok this summer, I guess it’s a new flavor or seasonal option, but they’re should be all over the Italy 🤔
@@a_canary Bud' laska. Is it correct? I was in your country many times in the past. I had another ex from your country, but he spoke Russian. I have beautiful memories of your country!
Catania: I did like only the main square and the fish market. The Café in the corner of the main square is nice as I remember, the rest of the city is quite average. Probably it is better to visit Palermo if sb likes to see a bigger Sicilian city. But Taormina, Syracus, and the smaller towns at the coast are very beautiful. And they are very historic, in fact they are not Italian, but Greek.

@@a_canary In Sicily you can see Aci Trezza, so beautiful! Siracusa also. I was there with my ex from Rome many years ago.
