These videos are a lot more helpful than the dvd that came with my bond. I love the way you explained the increases and decreases. They look very sophisticated.
Thanks so much, Cheryl! Received my Bond last week and finished my little test this morning. The way you break down the sweater components was so helpful! Looking forward to starting the 1st sweater series tonight 🎉
This series is amazing!! Thank you! I recently thrifted the ISM and you make it so easy to learn. My first project was a scarf on the machine. I can’t wait to work on this practice piece and then make my first sweater!
Well I have owned my Bond machine now for over a year. I didnt understand the manual and felt blessed when I came across your instructional videos. I watched them all & some twice except video #6 and it could not be found. So now tomorrow I will set up my machine and join you again 1 video at a time and try this. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I've been a hand knitter for 3-4 years now and your videos really inspired me to 'up my game' and go out and buy a bond. Thanks for the clear instruction!
This is a good question. The duplication house that has my 1-inch original masters transferred them to mini DV for me. The first program was 88 minutes long but they put it on an 80 minute tape, hence I didn't have the last part of the program, and now they can't find the masters. The only way I could record it here was to put on an old VHS and shoot it with my camera toward the TV, hence the drop in quality. The other two programs are all on mini DV so they'll be fine.
I am so thankful to have stumbled upon these videos! I had no clue about waste yarn and the way you bind off is so much easier and stronger than what the sweater machine handbook tells you. Thank you for the video!
You're welcome Dana and let me check on that video. They're all here somewhere. At least they were when I uploaded them. . . . I found it. It's there but I can't put a link in these comments. Google forbids it. You might try looking for my "Playlist" for your first BOND sweater. It's in that list as well.
You are so welcome Jane. I hired a professional video producer in 1988 and we shot the series in one day. It was a huge project for me but I'm so glad I did it.
Thank you so very much Cheryl for this session. I have been considering purchasing the Ultimate Sweater Machine. Now I am convinced - it is my next purchase!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
Thanks! Don't know where I'd learn if you didn't share these videos. I don't have a bond, I have a silver reed and was attempting to understand increases and decreases from old drawings from the 60s in the instruction manual!
Very cool! I've been a machine knitter for a LONG time, but I've still learned some things from these videos. Did you teach the sleeve? I'm going, now, to play. Thanks, again.

Oh thank you Cheryl. I went back and redid my practice piece, it actually looks nice. Have a blessed life on your little island ♥
Just got my very own Bond knitter second hand, these videos are an absolute life saver! Can't wait to get started.

You are so welcome Mary-Ellen. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy your machine.

Can't wait to use this technique on my seams tonight. Thank you for having this video on line!

You are so welcome Edward. These videos are almost that old! ('88) Thanks for watching and commenting.
How would you join the front and back sides of the sweater?
