  • A simple tutorial on drawing a track diagram on your Marklin CS3.
This video is applicable for all scales, including LGB G-Scale and Marklin 1.
I show how to add turnouts to your article list, the use of short track pieces (place holders) onto which your routes can connect.
Then I address (pun) how to "pair" a group of turnouts.
This can be done by wiring the turnouts together (you would have to make certain that the load of the turnout motors does not exceed the output capacity of the decoder).
You can also create and record an event on your CS3.
Finally, you can put your decoders in a non-MFX mode and set their digital address manually. For me this is the preferred method.
I made this video in real-time, which may not be very entertaining for some of you. Remember that not everyone is comfortable with using a CS3, and by showing and talking through the whole build, I hope it makes it possible for everyone to follow along. You can also select "CC" on the bottom of the screen to get subtitles.

Thank you for the explanation, I am new to Marklin and have a central station 2 and mobile station 2. Is there any videos on CS2 programming in general, track diagram, setting routes ,adding accessories, etc.
