- Union Home Minister Wednesday in an interview with news agency ANI on Western media's remarks "India will head towards autocracy if BJP gets a large number of seats" said , "Friends abroad need not worry so much about us. Our country is mature enough, our voters are mature enough. There have been several changes in the government in this country without the spilling of even one drop of blood...Autocracy can never come to our country. Our Constitution has provided for such a beautiful balance of power that autocracy can never come here."

They brought in the 75 year limit for Advani cause he wasn't willing to retire even after BJP lost 2009 elections under his leadership. He was 86 in 2014 and still unwilling to let go. That's not the case under Modi. Modi is only 73 right now and is fairly successful in catching votes, which is the only metric election success is measured by. Why should he retire?

My response is to Amit Shah's desire that Mo D remains the PM even in 4th term starting from 2029. While matured democracies are restricting the maximum number of terms or years a person can remain PM or President. USA has a law that allows maximum two terms (8 years) for a person to remain president. Mo D has already been PM for 10 years. If Mo D's BJP has democracy as it was during Bajpayee and Advani's time, it would give opportunity for other BJP leaders to lead as Mo D himself was given the opportunity. Mo D is already 72. In 2029 he will be 77 years. There has to be a limit on hypocrisy of Mo D and Amit Shah. Mo D has become a Chipku PM.
