This is the difference between today's supposed superstars and MJ, he was shooting horribly in the 4th quarter but he kept making plays for others, attacking the basket and looking to get his own boards. Players today take a million threes in hopes of stealing the game and don't make hustle plays. MJ was not only the most skilled, but had the biggest balls out of anyone on the court.
Nick P. Why are you generalizing? Not everyone superstar shoots threes like Curry, ever heard of Giannis? How about Kawhi? Or how about Joel Embiid? Jokic? Such an ignorant comment.
Nick P. - exactly. That was MJ. Nobody can shoot well every game. And the defense back then and specifically this series was intense. This entire series was so physical in both directions. Back then, fatigue was a legit issue every game. Also, the paint was clogged with big men and you simply could not get easy buckets at the hoop. And in those instances, MJ did everything else to help his team win. Put backs, offensive rebounds, relentless defense in the post and the perimeter. He did whatever he had to to get the W. The issue is today's entire game strategy. It's all about chucking threes and relying on offense mostly, specifically in transition. No controlling possessions, no focusing on high percentage basketball. It's a totally different game. The rule changes created such different conditions on the court and essentially minimized the amount defense could affect the game. In MJ's day, defense truly won championships. Today that is no longer the case - that's why it's always about the amount of offensive talent on a team that dictates who wins the title today.
Reggie was the 2nd best SG in MJ's era. Definitely MJ outplayed Reggie in the 4th quarter in this game. But you gotta give Reggie credit. The Pacers forced game 7 in ECFs against the Knicks in 94, the Magic in 95, and the Bulls in 98. Then finally went to the finals in 2000 without any helps from another superstar. Reggie was the true leader who can carry his team to the finals without any all-star level player (Rik Smits was once an all-star. But he was not everyone's all-star every year) If he played today's game of basketball, he could've averaged more than 25 ppg. This game was the only game 7 that MJ had for his 2nd 3-peat. (96-98) Reggie is so underrated.

can you upload ben wallace 10 blocks that would be amazing to watch
If Bird would have left Jalen in when Pacers were up by 6 We might have won this. He decided to keep his Starters in that last 5 minutes even though momentum was changing with Jalen In the game. That's one game that Michael for sure didn't win by himself. Kukoc and Kerr killed us.
Terrible game by Jordan still, shooting 9 for 25 from the field. Pippen had a 17-12-3-2-1 game here too, don't forget that.
not a good shooting game, but jordan nearly had a triple double without disrupting the offense. hardly "terrible."
Daily reminder that I have as many finals losses as Jordan has rings
L3-6ron James Daily Reminder: Your fathers Malcolm and MCW sonned your LeQueen ass
@@russellwestgoat0461 you're so fucking lame
At least you have more hairs on your head than Jordan does
Ikr🤦🤦🤦 n that's sad 😥 af.fucking terrible, lebron not top 25 all time
😂🤣😂-😭😭😭😭😭 .......
Imagine thinking LePrincess is as good as the GOAT MCW and Malcolm BroGOAT
Now this is real DEFENCE not this current era bs, where you don’t bust your ass to get the ball
No one in this era has the balls of MJ23GOAT
Exciting times
Poor Larry...
Both these teams greater than the Warriors!
Foh. Warriors would demolish both of these overrated ass teams
LeBron James Led Teams has won at least one or two times on The Road in Playoffs at Indiana.
I get sick to my stomach when people talk as if Lebron’s passing is so much better than MJ’s.
Well it is
3s contest is not always a good option in the 4th quarter... finals are got in the FT line... fighting in the paint
Jordan vs. Miller game 7? Really? Reggie was a ghost in this game, i remember, he pretty much dissapear compared to the previous games in this series
This pacers team will sweep lebron
That move at 2:20
MCW > Prime Jordan, Prime Wade, Prime AI, Prime Scottie and Prime Kobrick combined
Overrated Pacer team. Not enough scoring. Lol knew all along Chicago would win.
Low scoring is attributed to great defense.
Start of Jordans 6th ring, think about that. Now think about Lebron who cant even make the playoffs
And lebron fans/ mj haters says mj never face a shooter like curry🤦🤦🤦😂. Reggie miller is 2nd best shooter all time n hes more clutch than curry
Reggie miller isnt even remotely close to being an all time great shooter. Curry,Thompson, lillard and even hield are already much better shooters than miller has ever been. Hope this helps
Reggie was the premier shooter of his time but in today’s era he would be a dime of a dozen. There’s a handful of players today that could shoot as well if not better than him.
Brogdan >>>> Westbrick and Kybrick
It’s like lebron vs Curry match up
If Bulls had problem with Miller who was only good shooter in Indiana,Warriors would crash them in pieces
Turbo Roman lebron struggled with Dwight Howard ( a poor mans Shaq) lol
@@franciscopizarro5424 more like a better version of shaq
@@franciscopizarro5424 no
i’m more impressed that jordan was no question thee best in the nba but lebronze always loosing and it’s easier to get outscored by the mavs than to win that series
Game 7. Bulls almost lost. Pacers almost won. That counts for something. And that something is a lot. The six ring king struggled to win.
almost is the same as nothing.. i almost won the game = i loss the game.
but hes not lebum.
And LeBron had to struggle to get two of his rings, and there is only three total.
I mean even if the Bulls didn't win, Jordan would still be the GOAT. They had already won five in seven years before this time.
MCW isn’t 3-6 in the Finals like LeRoid
Are you 13 bro?? You made multiple comments grow up
Lol Michael Carter Williams > Jorbrick atleast since 2010 MCW has been in the Playoffs unlike Jordan who can’t even win 1 Game
