Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets. Download the game files here.

for context on why mr boss is such a prevalent character in this mod, the whole mod originated as a bit in a vc where one of the devs saw the clip of the boss tweaking from smiling friends and said "it kinda looks like hes doing fnf poses". everyone in said vc then made vs tweaking boss over the course of a weekend, and the week after they just kept going but taking it more and more seriously (hence songs like chef blasting/peggle being more light-hearted compared to a lot of the later songs)
This is all correct except the team didnt start making weekly until 2 months after tweaking boss

Hello, composer of risk of rain song and suika game song, tysm for playing
Most of the stuff we made for every week was made in about 3-4 days with the planning being done 1 or 2 days before
As for how many people were brought toghether for this, there was alot of guest work but the main team is about 25 people or so and not everyone worked on every single week
Also for clearing up friends and fellas you needed to watch the trailers for every week that we released on the fnf weekly channel to have a better understandijg of whats happening

In the earlier version of this mod, when Tweak 2 Bad Guys Boss Rush was newly added in this. The evil guy on the left in the song, Friends and Fellas was in the Main Menu.

Ok so i have a few things to say
1. Idk if this context was given but for the final 2 songs in tweak 10
The songs were called friends and fellas and buds and bluds because each tweak upon release had a promo video om Twitter where norbert the host would open each video by saying "What's up my friends and fellas, buds and bluds" hence why he said that in the lyrics section too lol
The evil version of him trebron and the pigs is also from these (the pig also had a song in tweak 1 as well too but yeah)
2. I use the sploosh o matic in Splatoon lol

Imposter v4 isn't just remixing the same song no lol
Week 2 is essentially a remix week of week 1 but thats really it, anything else would just be a motif or 2 in other songs but still original
What I find funny is that this is something that people get on imposter for, yet DDTO does the exact same thing of referencing ddlc motifs in alot of songs and nobody bats an eye at that 😭
Could be that some people like the motif better? Like bias?
Who knows? But I’ll be checking out imposter V4 at some point in the near future so I will find out!

Bacteria John is from Plug in the Mic App. Mr. Boss Appears in EVERY TWEAK to not only call back to Tweak 0 (Tweaking Boss) but also cus they made that PAYOFF SO BEAUTIFUL. ORDER OF MR BOSS' APPEARANCES: 1 (Peggle), 2 (In Pirate Indie Games, You can hear Mr Boss' tweaking atonals), 3 (Randomly can fly the helicopter in Spaceblasterz), 4 (Gets a Minus Design in Philly Mice), 5 (In the audience to the right for Parappa's song), 6 (Desktop of Tweaksuperfan7's PC), 7 (Randomly can be the NG website BG for the first song), 8 (The Moon in Circus (Weekly Mix)), 9 (Goes Right Up past you in the song based on Aggretsuko), 10 (on a little drawing in the senpai song), 11 (On a PC behind the girl in Popular). Only song with health drain and it's simpler than other songs with insane mania charting and you died. For shame. That character in Mental Temple is ENA, Joel G makes the content with people he works with for those animations, and soon, AN ACTUAL GAME! They coded the songs and s*** every week made each tweak in about 3 days with the exception being tweak 10 taking 2 weeks to finish.

IMPOSTER V4 USED TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOD BEFORE THIS. Only reason I knew art for the imposter song was made by Loggo was cus of the art he did for Imposter V4 more specifically in the week Loggo's Halloween.

Fun Fact: Both in Scarefull and in 7 of 8, at the intense portion or at the end of the piece The songs go into 7/8 time signature.

Srry buddy. Fire Emblem isn't cared for by most people. Kirby could've fit for Bad Guys Boss Rush, but they had so many other ideas that Kirby wasn't one of em.
