I'm a dog lover, but I'm too timid to face those too 'intimidatingly^^ affectionate' dogs.
A German shepherd lived with my family when I was around 9 yo; I loved him so much but at the same time too scared to get close to him. I provided all I could for him, but always indirectly and never touching or patting him although I desperately wanted to. I'm still the same for direct contact unless a dog is small and gentle.
What a wonderful and beautiful person she is!!
