Take the Bloodstock performance. Another nice one is Revamp - Disdain, Graspop performance. She screams there. Trial of Monsters is another nice one of the same concert. Have fun!

Here she growls together with the male vocalist in harmony and you can’t really hear Floor’s part in it very well as both growls blend together and his volume is slightly higher than hers. That is why I suggested Wild card from the Bloodstock performance, because you can hear Floors growls much better there. But thanks for the link, i didn’t know this one.

On the subject of Floor growling; she learned to growl at the same time as she put her new band, Revamp together in 2009.At the same time she and the guitar player from Pagan Minds wrote a hard rock album together(which wasn't recorded until 2017, and released as Northward). I miss Revamp, I liked it, I describe it as hard rock with goth overtones and of course Floor. Well she can growl with the best of them Nighwish just hasn't used it very much. You guys haven't heard anything yet honestly when it comes to her vocally. Try Phantom of the Opera from that singing contest you were talking about (Bestes Zangers). Jinger is good but after listening to Phantom you will understand what I am talking about.
Tvf, Jinjer is a completely different kind of metal, and don't think it is fair to compare the two bands on this. And I am not even a fan of Jinjer and their type of metal myself.

But for her thats her bread and butter, Floor only has occasional use for it, so never developed it enough. I am sure she could compete with proper training and usage ( dunno if that'll ever happen tho)
As you get further into your Nightwish "journey"(lol), you will eventually get to some songs that will have the operatic vocals in it. The best thing with Floor is she seems to avoid the operatic vocals unless the song is compromised by going away from it. When she is performing songs from Tarja's era, sometimes there is no escaping it. She still puts her stamp on them though. She tries to use as much of her soprano voice in place of it. As for the tv show, you might want to skip that. She does pretty much everything but metal, but she shows her chops and range to the point where you wouldn't know she was a metal head. She's awesome at it and impressive as hell if you go into it respecting other genres for what they are.
If you want a taste of the second singer her name is Annette Olzen and the song Scartale (official video) is a good start or Amaranth, again official video, which has massed over 106million views Annette while with nightwish doesnt have many good sound quality live videos her own band the dark element however most likely does

Nuclear Blast released a Nightwish song last Friday. The DEVIL and the DEEP DARK ocean. Really good. You need to check out BESTE ZANGERS. IT'S not everybody's kind of music ,BUT FLOOR WON'T LET YOU DOWN. most of it, I couldn't understand because it in another language. It Was interesting too see how good she's really is. She is that good.

sorry but it is not a singing competition, it is a show with 7 singers for 7 weeks, and everyweek there is a singer in a chair, and the other singers sings songs of them or songs they liked, and the other 6 singers sings to them.

I always put Nightwish in the same category as the bands of the 70's and early 80's. Van Halen, Loverboy, the Who etc. They give a great show.
