Interesting deal about that Slowking, the reason it might be so limited in PSA 10 is because its Pokemon Power was mistranslated in English causing it to be borderline broken within the game itself. Competitively viable cards are much less likely to survive the test of time because of well, being played, and for one this basically necessary that attribute is only multiplied.
Another cool side note is there are only two cards (to my knowledge) that have ever been banned from the Standard (rotated) format of competitive play. One of which is this Slowking, the other is Sneasel from this very same set.
If this channel ever dies, he just needs to sell a card every three months to be okay. (But let’s just keep watching his videos and enjoy the openings while not spending any money ourselves)
It's super nice living vicariously through you as you open these packs! All the memories getting refreshed from my childhood. Wish I could afford some of these old packs to enjoy!

That gym hero’s pack you opened with the backwards blaines charmander was an EXTRA CARD the pack had 12 card instead of the normal 11 I had to go back in the video and rewatch you pulling them so I could count them and it definitely was an addition card added to the pack. Never seen that before and that’s awesomely amazing!!

Hey I think that muk is a special one. I know they reprinted it to make his eyes look straight instead of the up-skirt pose. People got butt hurt about it. Maybe the Japanese versions are like that but US version is different can't remember

Koga’s Ditto move was Giant Growth. That means Ditto was able to DMax in Gen 1 but they didn’t know why it did that.

I know you like the swirls on them holo's but you ever notice some of the holos you pull have that cross/plus symbol on them? 5:43 the nidoking had one.

I didn’t realize my Lugia is worth so much. I was fourteen back then when I bought a few packs. One came with a Lugia, holographic steel energy, Steelix, Skarmory, Kingdra and Ampharos, all holo. I put them in top loaders because I wasn’t playing the game anymore. So I put them all in storage and just pulled them out recently. And they all look pristine.
