The dark set up looks great. Better lighting IMO.
I have this one it is very nice it gives me Fougere vibes. It is kind of old school but with some slight modern touches. I get a very expensive barber shop feel with a little warmth to it. It is masculine in every way; it is well done and for under $50 it is worth having. I get 4-6 hours depending on the weather and temperature. Not a beast mode scent it is a more moderate scent and yes for a more formal occasion.
What an perfectly elegant, refined review of this beautiful fragrance. Indeed, it is a special scent for a gentleman such as yourself who is equal to the refined elegance found in Roshas Moustache. I loved how you took the viewer out into Lind and showed us just what the night looks like and feels when wearing Moustache. So much of the true effect for scent is where it takes you emotionally and how it makes you feel. It is more than just a collection of notes, or a complement magnet. It should be and is for me about how it effects the wearer. When I lived in San Francisco I too loved to walk the city just at dusk and into the night. It was magical. Bravo on a great review.
I use it as a weekend fragrance on during the fall... And during the day I will use Mercedes-Benz Man private (cool weather as well) and paragon... But during the warmer days I'll use armaf hunter & hunter intense and lattafa Liam Gray..... In my 40's I tend to look for stuff that smells good that could get me compliments but I don't try to get them... and mustache seems to go along with the other things that I wear that showcases a bit of maturity as well as smell good at least to me... not in the dating scene anymore so honestly I don't care what other people think as long as I like it😂.... only started to just use mustache but I'm enjoying it so far but I also noticed that it's something you can't wear every day so I only use it on the weekends or when the wife and I go out
I have both Tuxedo and Moustache and Moustache is extremely similar when it hits the dry down. The opening IMO is much better with Tuxedo, but the opening is such a short duration that dollar wise you are better off getting Moustache. Both fragrances can easily extend your date to the next morning if you do your part.
Just bought a bottle. It’s very good.
Only for some reason I got a bit tired of it quite quickly.
for me moustache starts off like Dior Homme intense or Valentino Uomo intense and in the dry down you have some of that mysterious Dior Fahrenheit darkness. Compliments galore!
It's fantastic. So glad I bought it. The EDT is nice as well for the warm weather.
I happened to be wearing this cologne when I noticed you had done a review of it so of course I had to see what you thought. As you mentioned it's average to low projection but it smells really nice and definitely unique in my modest collection.

I really love the pink pepper in Rochas Moustache EDP. Gives it a masculine flowery note.

I appreciate your videos. I’ve been looking at this one lately. The darker lighting makes the lighter color tones look brighter and warmer. It looks good. Btw I’m wearing Givenchy Gentlemen EDP today.
Have you dudes noticed that if you mix dior Elixir with BR540, you’d get the scent of OFG?

yes. this fragrance a is a mood setter. great review. i have this one and the edt which is very different like TF Beau D Jour. the edp is a great pick up . :).

great review Max. i was thinking today actually the fragrance one wears really does affect a personal mood and that mood is what conveys to others . they get it on some level. was wearing Hollister Festival Nite of all things in the cold today and that cheapie designer people enjoyed today as its got some 1 Mil or og Le Male type vibe but woodier. Rochas Moustache EDP is amazing. as you like Tom Ford Beau Di Jour you should check out Rochas Moustache edt for a real mind scramble. this review reminds us on many levels that fragrances are personal experiences and its good to wear them on our own to kinda learn what they do so we can really wear them with confidence in social settings to set the mood.
Good example of a sweet woody amber that gives me a "tea with honey" vibe. Comforting sillage imo.
I do really enjoy this one. Shame about the price doubling, I picked it up about 12 months ago for £30

I just bought mine for 37€, 75ml. 😁 I wonder how it smells, it's was a blind buy. I don't have any suits tho, I'm a 30 year old skater, but I think I can pull it of... I mean I have a beard - that's my natural suit lol. 😂 I just wanted something a bit more "classy" then my club de nuit intense. I hope it was worth it and I'm really looking forward to see how it smells.

It's super nice and easy to like. And just like YSL Tuxedo, especially women really like it. But it definitely has that "classy" feeling, where you'd feel weird wearing it with jogging pants and oversize t-shirt.

The Fragrance Don is back at it again
YSL Tuxedo is my signature but with ~350€ for 120ml it’s crazy expensive. Bought now the 120 ml edp mustache for 40€ 😂

True story - I took this bottle immediately out of its packaging and it slipped and the bottle bottom fell directly on my right big toe. For weeks i had this purple line going across my toenail - eventually, half of the entire nail fell right off!!! The amount of glass this bottle is made up of is insane. Its heavy!
Wear half a bottle instead of that little sample and review your review
;) i wore this a lot, nighttime/daytime and casual/business/dressed up. You just smell damn good, versatile fragrance. A little too subdued however. Still, nice scent. Love the edge of rose

There are two cheap clones for more regular use. Tudor and Kismet. Your night filming is like an Edward Hopper painting. Ps looking smart, but never button when seated

It's also very similar to Xerjoff Ivory Route.
Am I the only one who thinks this is overrated? My buddy and I both bought the $55 tester bottle 125ml. We both had the same opinion...good but not worth all the hype. It's floral. It's that night time ambery fragrance but without that tobacco/boozy/vanilla/leathery vibe I like from the others in this category. I sold my bottle and kept a 10ml decant.
U prob got the wrong one. The edp is not floral at all. It's warm spicy
@@HevaNaisdey It was the EDP. We made sure to get that one. And that's why we were so disappointed. I'll find my decant and see how I feel about it after a year.
Good review. This scent was very disappointing to me. I was hoping the hype would make it more everyday appealing. It doesn't smell bad. It just doesnt smell that good. unique for sure. Just smells like you should be 55+ to wear.

I wore this to the beach yesterday on a 36 degree (Celsius) day. Chose this because I had a half day of work & Moustache doesn't stay long, so by the time I hit the beach it was nicely washed by the waves.
I think it’s nice but I would love if it pushed more off my skin. It is very close to Tuxedo. To me it’s definitely bottle worthy if you don’t want to buy that and save some money. Maybe I’ll do 15 sprays and see if I can offend some people tonight. Nice review, keep up the good work!!
I have a big bottle of Rochas Mustache EDP (and the original 1949 EDT) and a decant of YSL Tuxedo. It's a classy, subdued scent. Subdued as in it sits close to the skin.

So if you like or tried spicebomb extreme, mercedes club black etc. You will probably like this one also! It gives me a slightly fresh minty vanilla vibes this one. Probably because of that pink pepper
