Heyyyy ! 👋 those squash can grow like crazy just overnight ! The big ones I cut in half and scrape out seeds ...cut up other veggies and you can add ground sausage ...turkey is really good with the zucchini amd veggies sprinkle with Romano cheese and shredded cheese ...I like hot pepper ... white cheddar ...and provolone or mozzarella...wrap in foil approximately 30 to 60 min dependant on size of zucchini...I like to uncover to brown cheese slightly for maybe the last 10 minutes or less. Season the stuffing with your favorite spices and a tablespoon of butter cut up into the stuffing. Forgot about that part 🙃...baby turkeys lookin' good ! Tasty good later ! 🤭 have a blessed day ! Missing Rebekah ..
Where's your dogs haven't seen them.for a while...did I miss something ? We've been under the gun since May ....so just catching up. See ya ! 😊

Evan I have been picking my tomatoes just as they start turning red and they ripen in a couple days.
I have a volunteer cantaloupe growing out of a mulch pile that is 4' tall and it has almost covered it completely
with many melons on it. Weeds in the garden is nearly a full time job.

The "problem" of fixing things over the "phone" is "it" hardly ever works. The "problem" is, you just have a "super articulating" loader assembly....with about 170° of "flex-rotation". Perhaps a flexible-spring-loaded mast to "prop-up" ALL that hydraulic ( nessary) hose. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

    Do zucchini leaves cause rashes?
"The leaves and stems are covered with urticating fibers which can be irritating. These are small glass-like fibers that break off in your skin when you brush against them. There is no toxin injected when this happens, it is rather like the rash that is caused by handling fiberglass insulation."

I have the same tractor and grapple. They’re awesome. For your information, there is also a hose hanger on the other end of the grapple that could work instead of using zip ties. I had Pioneer couplers installed on mine rather than the flat face skid steer couplers. No need for adapters that way.

I don't understand your reasoning for not using the bigger tractor to get things done. For a fellow who knows what's right and wrong, you waste a lot of time Jimmy rigging hoses , bending plates, stretching hoses and breaking fitting for no reason. That little tractor is amazing why wreck it.

I had the exact same problem with my grapple hoses being too tight, so I used a couple of long zip ties to give them a little more slack. Luckily, I didn't need too much more so just tied the hoses to the same place on the grapple but was able to let them hang a little lower using the zip ties.
Oh, on the stump killer. I've been trying (unsuccessfully so far I might add...lol) to eradicate the Honey Locust on our property and read that it's best to apply stump killer during the fall when the tree is pushing all nutrients down into the root system for the winter instead of spring/summer when it's pulling the nutrients up from the ground into the branches for growth and to produce the seed pods. Made sense to me so I'll be trying it this fall...🤷‍♂

Evan if you make a bigger chicken tractor for your turkeys try cattle or pig panels with a wooden frame around the bottom. You might have to make a couple of them and have to move them using the one of the tractors.
You now have two tractors each when you finish repairing the one in the barn. Plenty of HP to use. I've seen three tractors with two semi haulers chained together pulling one burned out combine out of a field covered in three feet of snow.

Thanks for sharing Evan and Rebecca, you both were really busy today around the property, looks great with all you got done. Do you have chiggers around there? That's what they do when you get even near to them and they do itch and burn. Hope it settled after you got washed up. I think the grapple was a little too big for the smaller tractor and with all the trouble it caused I think it would be better to use the big tractor instead of switching back and forth to the littler tractor, but what do I know?? Stay safe and keep up the good work and videos. Fred.

Tordon is a great product. I always recommend that brand to my customers and family. Except my hippy dippy customers...they prefer that i cut down the same brush honeysuckle every two years when they refuse to use herbicide on their property.🤔 It makes me sad when i see volunteers and my state Conservation Department pulling invasive honeysuckle out by the roots when so many of my customers refuse to get rid of it on their own property. (or even some that actually like it because it smells pretty and has a sparrows nest in it!?!) Any brand with Triclopyr as an active ingredient is good stuff.

1:59 The tractor's horsepower doesn't have anything to do with how heavy the grapple should be. All of the 15 series use the same hydraulic pump, all the way up to 48 horsepower, and they all have the same lift capacity of 2,200 pounds. A lighter grapple would just allow you to lift more payload weight.

Try going into the zucchini patch and removing about 50% of the biggest leaf and stems on each plant just cut them off with a knife down as far as you can reach. You will itch 100% less and you can catch them before they get too big. We slice them length wise coat with spray olive oil, seasoned salt and pepper, garlic and onion powder and grill them. We do this to the small ones less than a foot long. Love the channel JeffinMaine
