We Muslims are very thankful to our Sikh friends in helping a small minority of Muslims in their small village. We Muslims believe we all are children of one man and a lady named Adam and Hawa/Eve peace and blessings of Almighty God be upon them.
Then all Punjabis on the both sides of the boundary are cousins, distant cousins and family friends. Our elders lived together, played together, enjoyed together and felt the moments of sorrow together. They used to help each other like family members.
We all share many similarities in our living styles and behaviour. We Punjabis are well known for being martial race. We must strive to be kind and helpful to each other like our forefathers.
There is no doubt we do have some differences but first of all we all are human beings.
We all honour sufis and saints.
Baba Guru Nanak sahib jee is Highly respected and honoured in Punjab.
I hope small jestures of kindness from both sides should bridge the gap.
We should not pay attention of a tiny minority of trouble makers on both sides as vast majority of the Sikh and Muslim communities are peace loving people.
So we should carry on to do good for all.
