At 8:37, the issue you’re facing isn’t about AI; it’s about Xcode not recognizing the new files created from your project. The files generated in the project folders haven’t been added to the project yet. I don’t understand why there are so many videos claiming that “no coding required” and “no programming skill required.” These are essential knowledge and skills for every profession, even with the assistance of AI. This means that someone with no programming skills won’t be able to perform tasks they’re unfamiliar with.
As long as the folder in Xcode is in color blue, it should be able to get all the files synced under that folder, i.e. if you can see that files under that folder in Finder, those files should be recognized by Xcode. Also, you might also want to update to the latest version of Xcode to make sure the folder is in color blue so that all the new files could get recognized.
@ that did come to mind. Thanks for letting me know. Just a question, when cursor writes code, should the result of that code automatically show when I press play in Xcode? Or do I have to manually copy the code in? I can’t seem to get a result other than hello world.
I don’t like to develop like this tbh, i feel like we are letting the ai do things without a pattern, or more like spaghetti code. for small things can work but i will never use it like this on my main job.

Yeah, cursor made an update and combined composer on the right hand panel along with the agent. That short cut no longer works unfortunately 😭

After cursor generated few files , Xcode fail to show them in left side bar need some setting to auto refresh or sync Xcode and cursor files ? Thx

@ Nope, watch this video at around 2:30 mark. First you need to create a project in Xcode, then open the folder up in cursor
