Decapitated HOR Super Sirex Siren in Downtown Chicago, Illinois

Filmed from the Sears Tower. Story was the siren got stuck on so they threw the head off the building somehow iirc. I’m probably wrong, someone more knowledgeable on Chicago’s Civil Defense sirens could probably correct me. Not my neck of the woods at all.

the poor siren didn't really need to be thrown, could've hurt someone without warning they were replacing it.
