The passages in Ephesians are nothing like the doctrines the Roman Catholic Augustine twisted them into, they are beautiful passages pointing to what we were elected under Christ Blood for, "to be conformed to HIS image" because He bought us we are no longer "our own". 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, THAT 👉🏾 we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained 👉🏾THAT we should walk in them.
