Yep, for sure! They're still holding. Today will be 8 straight races on them. The rod ends hold really well! Thanks for watching!

Thanks !! I already notice how darn tight my turnbuckles are ( did grease them during the build ) as when I tried to do my adjusting , they pop right off !!!! What a PIA !!! Haven't had them pop off during racing thought yet .

I noticed the same thing. I had to hold one side or the other to adjust them in the beginning but after a couple of race days they were easy to adjust. The rear would be near impossible though, without opening up that non-threaded portion. 6 races on my SL and no failures. Keep an eye on the front ones with the elbow. I notice they bend slightly after a rough (crash a lot) run. I use a torch to slightly heat them then straighten with pliers.

Hello, this has worked out very well. Never had a single ball end pop off. The adjustment notch is super easy to use and these results are for my 410SL and ET410.2. I even reached out to 1UP and let them know the turnbuckles are great. Gave them a link to this video too. I asked them about sponsorship and the told me to go apply lol. So no, I'm not sponsored by them. Only thing I want to mention is, even after prep drilling and greasing, they were still pretty tight and I still had to hold a rod end with long nose pliers to make adjustments on the turnbuckles. Not sure I would change that though. If drilled out too much, it might be too loose and end up pulling out or ripping threads in a bad crash. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!

Do the associated rod ends work with the stock tekno links?

No, the stock tekno turnbuckles are too thin in diameter. The rod ends I'm using in this video have a bigger diameter where the thread of the rod end goes in. Actually slightly too small for the 1up and that's why it has to be drilled out. They work with the ball cups I replaced in the video, which are better than the stock tekno rod ends but they still pop off quite a bit.

are you saying the new rod ends still pop off?
