- Hi guys! it's been a hot minute, I know sorry about that. I've been working my butt off to get this video together because it means a whole lot to me.
2 years ago I uploaded a fan animatic for Thomas Sanders' series: Sanders Sides using the Steven Universe Extended Intro. I made it at the start of my summer vacation, not knowing hard it would be. With just my iPad mini, a finger, and whole lot of determination, I whipped up the original version of this animatic within 2 days. I posted it on Tumblr, tagging Thomas in hopes that he'd see it. A few days later, low and behold I receive thousands of notifications from fellow Fanders on Tumblr. I was shocked and went to see how and why it grew so popular. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Thomas had reblogged it and mentioned how much he loved it and safe to say I was star struck. He's a huge inspiration to me and knowing that he liked my small fan animatic that 11 year old me made was astounding. I never forget that moment uwu
Now, as my summer vacation comes to a close, I would like to present to you all the fruit of my 2 weeks of labor, a remake of said animatic. I hope you all enjoy it! I know there are a few mistakes, looking back, timing, anatomy, the frames moving, etc. but hey, it's the thought that counts lmao.

First I just wanna say how much I love this! Alright though I noticed how thd sander sides kind of match the steven universe character you put them as. (I mean I haven't seen all of SU but I know the gist of the characters.)
For Patton as steven, I feel since they are both happy go lucky characters that are very childlike (I know steven a literal child.) and also how they care about their friends but sometimes have trouble talking about their feelings or admitting they need help.
Alright Virgil and Amethyst make sense because they were both outcasts especially in the beginning and butted head with pearl/roman, but then after while and after the others learned more about them they became part of the team, also purple is both their signature colour.
Pearl and Roman make a lot of sense to me, one because of their relationship with a certain purple child and 2 because they both present as these put together characters but are actually extremely insecure who are always trying to be the best. They also come of as very classy characters that can seem almost annoying but are really interesting character once you learn more about them. Also, they both can fight with swords so yeah.
With logan and Garnet I think this has a lot to do with the fact they both come of as stoic and unbrother characters, only to find they can have a bit of temper. They are also the most rational of the group and the most level headed.
Idk that all I got like I said I havent seen any newer steven univerese so their probably more that could be said but this is all I got.
Also Im aware I just spent a lot of time on a comment no one gonna read but oh well.
