You were lucky it started to rain at the end when You demonstrated the result :D It's so nice sitting on the couch with a warm cup of tea while watching You expertly doing the work out in the cold. Great video again.

@@PiggyPowerCool, i might! :) Btw, my wipers started out like these ones, but lately they haven't moved at all, whatsoever. Do you think this job is worth while trying, or is it over and out for the wiper motor?

@@ambisoulmusic worth checking fuse. Perhaps they've got seized up. Or corroded pins.

This issue I've sorted in the past by cleaning the pins on the connector on the top of the motor. If you look inside it you'll likely see signs of the green oxidation. Just unplugging and plugging back in can be enough to clean them up a bit.
The worst case, I had to replace the socket and plug with a new super seal units .

Jumping issues yeah but the odd parking location will be the tracks. It's a good thing to check though for sure 👍👍👍🐷😁

I reckon that is a fix that will sort my wipers not seating back in it original location. Usually need to give the wiper stalk a quick nudge to get them to seat back down.

Good one that Porky lad, my 306 has started to do this! i was thinking it was the stalk on its way out, or the wiper blades been crap. I will see if i can get a full unit second hand and do that one, because its now mams daily car for the moment. Can you do a video on the speedo on the gear box side of things? mine sometimes loses the connection to the speedo on the dash, and the pops back up, I know it just needs a clean but its where it is etc.

Tbh, it only takes maybe 10minutes longer to do the "service" on the motor over replacing it ..
As regards the speedo dropping occasionally... I've never had that or seen it personally but I'd first be checking the chassis leg connectors? Then scramble underneath to check the plug connector on the Speedo drive

Speedo dropping out is normally a bad sensor. I used to get this on mine. Put a new sensor on and it's been good since.
