Who wants to deal with stalkers finding out where your kids go to school or where an idol's lover works? It's not like America where all your business is constantly in the media.
It depends on the company, but having kids or even being in a relationship is extremely rare, and in most companies is not allowed. But, Chen from a boy group called EXO is having a kid soon with his fiancé!!

kpop groups usualy have members who start off very young so the chances of kids are none if you had a family they probably wouldn't choose you cause part of the attraction they have is being single to be the loves of fans. usually if idols fall in love or have families its seen very controversial

Yes you're right, they start training very early and can be as early as 7yo or in their teenage years so they definitely don't have kids specially that korean culture is very strict and korean teenagers are less likely to get pregnant in a korean society and then they train for years and if they're lucky enough sign a contract to become idols with heavy schedule and the contracts could include things such as no dating for the first 5 years or some crazy shit so they tend to not have kids and many date in secret to avoid scandals

Mamamoo are the vocal queens of this generation of Kpop. Known for being amazing singers (even the rapper Moonbyul sings amazing) and for having a GREAT AND INCREDIBLE PRESENCE ON STAGE (you can watch their performance at Mama 2019 ft. JYPark), every kpop artist knows and respects Mamamoo. Mamamoo had a retro style early in their career but they have done different styles in their 6 years.
Also contrary to many Kpop GirlGroups Mamamoo have a fandom homogeneously made up of boys and girls, and people of many ages, especially because of their talent and they confidently speak of taboo themes in their songs.Specialy Hwasa was criticized for not "fitting" into the Korean beauty standards for Idols but with her incredible confidence and charisma that has changed and she created her own standard( Such a Queen!! 👑👏).
I highly recommend Destiny, I miss you, 4x4, Decalcomany, Yes I am, Wind Flower, Starry Nigth, etc. haha xD the truth all songs are good. Or any presentation at INMORTAL SONGS, and INMORTAL SONGS MEDLY.

Starry night from mamamoo was the reason why I stan them.
HIP was Mamamoo's answer to all their hater's criticisms of them. Some could call it a diss track, but I prefer to call it a message. Letting them know they hear all the hate, and that they don't care. They're off to their next venture, the next album, the next endorsement, the next outfit, the next W. And to keep watching them rise. They got attitude for real.

I am talking about ACTIVE idols. and certainly there is no active Female idol who could ever promote as an idol again after having kids, they'd have to transition into a solo artist or an actress.
@@balqis_452b4 not really, there isn't a company in Korea where it is ok for an idol to have a baby. SM being an exception but that is only because he was sooooo popular, and he lost a ton of fans, his longevity as an idol has taken a severe hit. Any Female idol who gets preggers or married has to leave the group regardless of company, it just isn't there yet in SK society to have a mother promoting as an idol.
Mamamoo are more like artists than kpop idols, definitely check out more of them!!!

Mamamoo has so many different sounds as they tend to change genres often. Even this song sounds different than other songs on the same album. So I hope you give their other songs a chance even though they didn't 100% appeal to you. I suggest some of their older music like Starry NIght, Egotistic and Wind Flower to start. There is tons of rules and it all depends on the agency and how strict they are. Even dating is generally is frown upon although very few do allow it. So having a child is most likely will happen at end of their career if it does.

I'm one of those who loved it at first listen, but I know people who didn't who's vibing to it none stop now. Definitely something you gonna do after a couple of listens!
But for more "upbeat" you should listen to Egoistic and Gogobebe. And all of the members have solo stuff, but one of my favourite (a lot of peoples favourite) is Whasa's TWIT. It's so catchy! And the personality is definitely there.
Mamamoo is mostly known for the vocals. They're one of the best (if not the best) female vocal groups where they all can sing! They also have a bit different personality than most irl, they are so goofy.

This song is actually a diss to their haters in a way. Pretty much saying "whatever you do, just do you, you are cool(hip) that way". The part where it says

HIP is supposed to be unique. I am a huge fan of MAMAMOO, and when I heard this song, I wasn't really into it. But the more I heard it, read the lyrics, and saw the meaning of their visuals, it made sense. MAMAMOO has been a girl group that never wanted to fit in the "K-pop girl group" stereotype. All their songs and visual have meanings. In HIP, they are expressing all of the controversy that has surrounded them since the beginning. For example, Hwasa not being the "Korean Beauty Standard". But in many interviews (and even one concert), she shared her story and experience about it and said she was gonna keep doing her own thing no matter what the media and people think (which is a scene where she was president). The video also shows a lot of visuals where controversial ideas or moments are displayed and them saying that it is okay to be different (which most of their songs have the same message of self confidence and self love). The beat is also very different from any song in K-pop which is intended because again, they don't want to blend in K-pop and sound the same as everyone else. In all, the song says to always be YOU because it is HIP. :)
