"Are we watching the right episode?" Here is some context for this ep : if i remember correctly in manga author pulled a prank by realesing this chapter before taking break and ppl where really starting to question if the manga ended or not.
To clarify how the school years/student council work (to clear up the confusion about why this is happening): The student council cycle ends at the half year. So Shirogane, Kaguya and Chika are in their second year, and they're halfway through. (Basically they have done 1.5 year and they have 1.5 year still to go). Ishigami (who's younger) is still in his first year, so he has 0.5 year done, 2.5 to go. The 67th student council started when Shirogane was at his 0.5 year, and now that he's at 1.5 year, this edition is over!
Shirogane didn't feel embarassed because of kaguya's reaction. He would've been embarassed anyway, even if kaguya didn't react. This is a joke that will come again, basically shirogane can often lose himself in the moment, and always feels very embarassed afterwards. They were both embarassed, it's just that it came afterwards for shirogane. For kaguya's behavior overall, it's just a typical "tsundere" character that is often in romcom. Her exagerated/weird reactions are part of this common trope. It's mainly for the comedic aspect. Also, shirogane is kinda the same. A way to describe this anime is often "what if 2 tsundere fell in love for each other". So this kind of behavior isn't and will not be exclusive to kaguya.
So Shirogane basically said to Kaguya if we had a romance it would be like Romeo and Juliet but i wouldnt let it end in Tragedy.........bit forward for someone that couldnt yet confess normally
Don't worry, a LOT of people were confused by this episode hah. The end of student council thing wasn't explained that well. It was even more confusing for manga readers, because... Well, watching the anime, you know it's episode 3 so it's not the end, but in the manga we have no such information, so many fans thought maybe the series had been cancelled so the author was wrapping things up in a rush.
I was annoyed as well with Kaguya when I watched this episode. Especially with the Chika comments nonstop where it didn't feel like a joke anymore. I got hit with the "you're taking it too seriously". So, you're not the only one who felt annoyed
@@okeeguguru I already posted a comment for her. I adressed what she said about kaguya's reaction during the stargazing. But you have different reasons for disliking kaguya it seems. So I'm genuinely asking what are these chika comments you're talking about.
I don't think you can expect people to like or have same interests as you do. I don't get why they got annoyed for the same thing but they understood kaguya's reason for not liking the moon in the first place. Plus I think they blame kaguya for his embarrassment "it happened twice now" no because he was cringing at himself in the S1 finale without seeing her reaction. He has his insecurities too, (which we'll get into in the movie). Which is why he gets moments like this They both have their problems but for some reason people only blame her because it's easier

So what happens if a senior gets elected president? They have to replace him after half a term with a special election?

Please don't forget Shirogane's monolog about the moon and kaguya...
It's important for the upcoming season's ed.
Yeah bro arc of shinomiya family struggle. It's going to be a hard one.I loved the manga.
Bruh, this is entirely a spoiler for anime watchers!!!
Get rid I'd of this comment.
I was talking about the 3rd season ed.. You know the ending song season 3 had... It's not a spoiler.
@@atharwamalawade259it’s one of those things where if you don’t mention, it kind of goes over your head
It's not impoartant for the season's end. it's important for the whole story. Love is war is essentially a retelling of the tale of the Bamboo cutter.

I am just gonna say, this chapter is going to be important for the rest of the series, don't forget anything
there is some kind of lag between 0:40 and 1:02
Thanks for pointing this out! We just changed the editing software from this ep onwards so still figuring it out
かぐや姫は日本では有名なおとぎ話です。ちなみに日本で1番有名なおとぎ話は桃太郎というお話です。
