That second game was really awesome. Haha. Also, that's why you always avoid saying "infinite" - Later it looks like you fixed some of the confusion (Like giving Carlos half the number of tokens as Dillon), but obviously avoiding would've just prevented that, and would have also made sure that Ben got twice as many as Dillon (because of Doubling Season)... Or maybe the doubling season just makes it so they get the same amount?... Hmmm... Maybe you should've included a short explanation on what you guys decided after that hour-discussion. Hahaha BTW, I think Ben missed out on double treasures from Smothering Tithe because of Doubling Season. Great game, guys! I love the original decks and original wincons. I'm looking forward to what you guys brew next! :)
Really good feedback. You are right I probably should have done a quick summary of ehat happened and what we decided. I was actually hoping one of our viewers might know what happens as we were not exactly sure what to do when multiple people get as many tokens as they want but one person is quadrupling their amount every time. We do love playing different types of decks and combos. I'm glad you like them too!
@@Oopsall Mathematically, sure. But "infinite" means "endless"... and if you don't end somewhere, then your turn doesn't end/stack doesn't resolve. You have to pick a number. Any number. If I create "infinite" token creatures, and for every token I create, you create TWO tokens... Then if you attack me, I can only block half your creatures. Or, lets say on your turn you create "infinite" tokens, but you have to wait for your next turn to attack with them. Then on my turn I create "infinite" tokens to block... Can I not create more than you? Pick whatever number you want, but you have to pick a number. There are lots of examples why "infinite" isn't a valid number in mtg... Or anywhere, actually, because it isn't a number.
The Rhys basically make more than anyone "infinities", just because it doubles the amount of tokens on each activation... If one player make 10 elves with presence of gond, Rhys duplicate the number of tokens 10 times, which means, Rhys player has trillions of tokens more than any player on the board!!!
Crap, i had this on in the background while working. Now i am going to have to watch game 2 again when I get home to calculate who has more infinite tokens, and the threshold for the power increase to actually yield a win. I'm 5 years out of college, but still feel like you just gave me homework.
Haha, ya it’s pretty wild. It’s deterministic right? Every time one player gets some the other does and yet another gets 4times that amount. So you just have to decide a point at which everyone stops.
Although it's not explicitly stated, it's reasonable to assume that since Dillon was the one who gave away "infinite tokens" to Jordan, he would have given him substantially less that the number he created himself. For example, if we say that he gave away 100 thousand tokens, he could also say, but i have created 1trillion for myself (not unreasonable especially after looking at what was written on the infinitokens) in that case all Dillons tokens were 17/17s effectively making him have 1.7 million power ok board. That's no where near enough. However if the assumption is that all players agreed to make the same number of tokens, Carlos and Dillon would both have X P/T on the battlefield, Ben would have 16X P/T (4 times as many for doubling season and anointed prossion, and 4 times as powerful from divine visitation) and Jordan would have 17X P/T from them being pumped. That means Jordan could have only killed 2 players since total, his opponents had 18x, and he only had 17x power and toughness. I'm not 100% sure on this i'd need to watch the video a little closer, but no matter how you look at it, i don't think Jordan should have won. WITH THAT BEING SAID, the game needs to end once you get to that stage, and i think it was a perfectly fine way to conclude it. Super fun to follow along!

@@KingdomsTV here on my playgroup we just decide a number of times we take the action, just because the rules says "infinity" is not a number, so you have to decide how many times you take the action! Now with the number decided is simple to procede the player with more tokens win the game! Ha ha ha! Even if you take the action only 30 times, Rhys doubles the amount of tokens 30 times too, number of tokens created by Rhys is just ridiculous... even if you start with one single token(2³⁰)!

Again, same tip I told before: why don't you edit the audio to be only one person speakingwhat's happening? The difference between connections/equipments makes the quality of the video a bit strange.
We like having the banter and quips from each player. Once we can be in person again we will have separate audio for each player and it will sound better.
That second game haha - now I know what the "E" error on early calculators stood for.
Haha, does not compute!
Hey does Carlos have a decklist for that yasova deck? It looks super fun!
I'm glad you like it. I think its a fun twist. We always put our decklists in the description via moxfield!
I love the deck so far but I don't usually play combos. How do you use echo of eons and underworld breach??

I mean, 2x infinity is infinity
