I'm growing Canadice, Himrod, and a mystery red seedless, all planted last really early spring. I love the flavor of Canadice, and it is the only one that produced fruit so far.
⭐ Thanks Jack for another grape video! We are growing about 14 different varieties on our property. HOT Growing Zone 9B. we absolutely love growing our grapes! Cheers 🍷
I appreciate the video! I’m in zone 7B. In mid August, we had extensive rainfall. I believe that there was a lot of acid in the rain, because all of my grapes shriveled up rock-hard afterwards. QUESTION: What are the steps, that I need to take to remend my grapes?
WoW, those grapes look amazing! A friend gave us some blueberry grapes, they taste and look like blueberries very delicious and fun. I want to add to my collection: Thompson and Black Manukka!
Hey Jag. I just bought a new grape vine but will get another next year. I will get one of these. I know you had a great time making this video. Enjoy and take care
Wow, that’s amazing! I would love to know how to grow them, how much space I need, how big a pot I need, what kind of soil I should use and etc. Thanks!
I'm happy to see that all the grapes you mentioned grow in my area of 7a! I have a question. Can you grow more than one variety in a backyard along a fence, or is it best to stick with one variety? I do NOT have a large back yard. It's approximately 70x100 ft lot.
Can you tell us what you spray on your grapes to prevent disease? I grow Thompson seedless and can't get any grapes without a lot of fungicide to prevent Black Rot and other disease.
I'm really disapointed in my Concord so I want to get something new like these. Looking back I think those Thompson seedless might be my favorite from the store.
Take some cutting from your concord and plant more in different spots to see where it might grow best , I have them in Australia and love them , my best grape ,yum.
What do use to fertilize and when do you do it? I bought a cowart muscadine this year but have yet to taste any, pink reliance, thomcord and a st Theresa
So, In Maryland..Zone 7A, where would we get non-GMO seeds to grow the Black Manuka grapes? If the skin is so thin, how do you wash them?🤔 SORRY, I'm new to home gardening.
I am in San Jose California,. We have a sloppy backyard with north south hill - I want to plant about 40-50 plants, we like sweet wine so which one do you suggest? Also where can I get the best grape plants?
We have tried at least 5 sources and over 20 varieties over many years. All were supposed to be seedless . none were seedless, and all looked like concord with seeds. It takes several years to see what you have. So proven sources would be very helpful .we like your information. thank you@@DaisyCreekFarms
That has happened to me too, you can try Willis Orchard, however they shipped me 2 wrong varieties as well. www.willisorchards.com/category/grape-vines
I'm in zone 9 as well. Where did you find all these varieties? I've only found two at Tractor Supply. Lowe's and Home Depot don't carry grapes for some reason.
Hi sir, My name is mini. I live in New York. I want make grapes tree but I am not sure if it possible to do this. Because New York is most of the time cold. I just want know your opinion. I am very interest. Your grapes garden is beautiful mashallah. If you have time let me know. Thank you. Tack. Care.
@@DaisyCreekFarms Hi Jag yes we have first half of the year it’s sunny and second half it’s rain but this year we didn’t get much rain it’s very hot we are having severe heat if we get rain it’s minimal I don’t have space for planting so I would only grow my celery chives and other herbs but everything it’s drying out with the weather take care bye.
In my neighbourhood, someone grows a variety which I pick from as I walk by. I have never tasted anything like it. It tastes like juicy fruit bubblegum. I wonder if you can touch on how to grow from seed :)
Taking a cutting and rooting it is probably a better option, and much faster. However, growing grapes successfully is almost always a matter of grafting them onto disease-resistant rootstock. I really wish Jag had mentioned this in the video.
Yes we do, we have a upick farm, people come and pick their own fruit. Soon I will be shipping fruit as well, working on logistics and legal Ag requirements. If you want to get notified when we start shipping, signup for non local email list here www.daisycreekfarms.com/email-subscription
