I know you were joking about using your almost dead skeins to pad your number but I think you should totally do that if you end up doing this again! It would be fun to see how high your number gets PLUS it clears out all the mostly done ones that might be puttering around your space. Seems like a win/win to me cx

These videos make me feel less crazy because of how much yarn I use in a month 😅 you could make one every month and I wouldn’t get tired of them!
It would be interesting, if you did this again, to maybe keep 2 bags (or a tally) of how many whole skeins you use vs how many you finish off. Could be a fun way to get through some scraps/half skeins etc

It´s amazing to see, how much yarn you use.
In February, I weighed most of my yarn, made an Excel sheet, and I´m weighing what I used up knitting.
In March, I managed to use up around 1,6 kg or around 3,2 lbs. I made some heavy projecets, but it´s good to see, what you used.
Please, make more of these videos. They are fun to watch and inspiring

And yeah, it would be nice seeing you doing this again, but with open skeins/cakes/cones. Like, you only use what's already open, except if you get specific orders and have to open new skeins for them (and then you can finish those up to, as they will be open as well). It will be a mix of stash/scrap busting and "how many in a month"

This March, I had a baby! I was crocheting her newborn outfit in the hospital while I waited for my c-section. It was a mermaid tail done in crocodile stitch. I came soooo close to finishing, but I did manage to get it done for her one month old photo shoot! I’ve been trying to make her a small outfit each month whenever she takes a nap.

I loved this! You should definitely do it again or make it a series! It could even be a short what’s in the bag at the end of each month video too! But I loved seeing the projects again and seeing all what you made this month! I absolutely love your channel! 💜
You could get a more accurate count by weighing you completed projects made in the same yarn. Calculate the yardage by the label… weight per yard. I use this method to calculate yardage for larger projects.

An idea for another video. Could you do the same “how much can i crochet/knit in a month” but instead of counting scenes, could you do it by weight? Like grams/oz. Like measuring the finished products or count from the label (depending on if the scene was already used from before).
Also I would love to get a proper tour of your yarn room. And I’m hoping for an “organize my yarn with me” sort of video in the near future 😍

I feel like a better version of this for you since your variety is so big, is to measure by weight of finished products and categorized by yarn type (cotton, velvet, ect). For scrunchies, you could weigh one pony/hair tie before and subtract from final weight(they should all be the same right? So you'd only have to weigh 1 pony). I suggest this because you do SO MUCH and you really do use up hecka yarn, but it doesn't show when you're just doing labels.

You should do one where you weigh out the yarn you use or record the yardage. Also this challenge in the summer when you're making tons of tops and bandanas would look very different lol

if you remake this I recommend doing it as a maybe like a week or a day long challenge where you just use one type of yarn on a huge simple marathon project like blankets or something.

I personally love these challenges and like watching them while working on whatever project I happen to be working on.
Next time it would be awesome if you would also include the total weight of yarn used since you do not always finish a skein/cone.
It would be interesting to do this by weight since skeins are different sizes. Maybe take all finished pieces and weigh them before sending them out, so you can calculate the total at the end of the month.
