I love Ricardo and Julia for their charm and their musicality and they are the very top level dancers but they were never standing out or another level. R&Y artistry, musicality, chemistry, precision and technique were far superior to J&M. Labeling them as just ‘pretty dancers’ is being obtuse and the fact they retired as the 10 time Latin Professional World Champions proves that your statement is false as well. Joanna was amazing at spinning very fast but the rest of her dancing wasn’t on the same level, a one trick pony, Michael was a wooden dancer, very stiff in his hips. Whereas Yulia is regarded as a once in a generation dancer, simply brilliant and Riccardo completes her so beautifully, strong, masculine, a perfect frame for her.
oh Riccardo and Yulia, you dance as ONE.... you are a COUPLE...and a joy always to watch. Thank you for all the years and please, keep teaching and sharing ....

None can beat couple # 112. I love how when the dance is over they all gather for hugs. Very classy, unique, great coordination, beautiful castumes, i mean ALL of it is beautiful!!! Julia, i believe is her name was born to dance.
A visual treat and always spectacular. Only jarring note was the clapper right next to the microphone. The constant slapping of palm on palm really affected the audio. Their enthusiasm was admirable but very distracting.
Look at Ina's expression when she learned Dorin and Marina were in third place. This was when she realized she and Troels were destined to be professional world champions.
The dancing is not so difficult for real dancers like the US champs or for any good dancers . Where they nailed every single move is with the choreography. Most dancing is boring on fast forward. These two were entertaining while being perfect and natural . Stretching out moves to their max when required(the others just hit hard) and having fun. As good as it gets for now. People who also have fun with their jobs or passion are always the best at what they do Never put winning over excellence and fun, although assuming the win is fine with no regrets if you lose because it was fun and creative.
Amazing dancing by R & Y. From now on, you are show dancers. And congratulations to Troels and Ina, also from USA, for passing Dorin and Marina from Moldova, to take runner up. It was well deserved. But next time Kirill and Polina will perhaps be World Champions. (They didn't come to America.)

Too many key couples were missing which made this World Championship less interesting. Where were Nino & Andra, Stefano & Dasha? Too bad Kirill & Polina did not enter either. I saw them at the Dutch Open last weekend and they were marvelous! I thought they were going to be number one in that competition but they were beaten by Dorin & Marina.
Great to watch the worlds best , shame we have stupid people marking these videos down . Obviously the taste is in their mouths poor souls ... takes years to get to this standard

They are the absolute best and Latin Ballroom will not see another of their kind for a very long time. They have set the bar so high for Latin Ballroom now.. I'm curious to see where this goes.
I was disappointed to start with at all the posturing. There needed to be more dancing and less posing. I also was very unhappy with the person next to the recording device, his/ her clapping and whooping was very distracting.

WDC 2019 Latin....Finalists....USA 2 couples, Italy 1 couple, Moldova 1 couple, Denmark 1 couple, Germany 1 couple....Russia no representation...Ricardo/Yulia, Troels/Ina, Dorin/Marina....others couldn't be identified correctly....yes...Oxana, Massimo etc.....
