SWEDEN PRESELECTION 1979

The Swedish Final was held on February 17th at the Cirkus in Stockholm, hosted by Ulf Elfving. The winner was chosen by the votes of 11 regional juries.
Ted Gärdestad previously came equal 4th in the 1973 Swedish Final & equal 7th in 1975. At the ESC he was 17th.

One of the best NFs EVER! SO much better than Swedish MF these days! REAL musical diversity, not a lot of boring mass produced pop songs designed for MF, some great rock. And a LOT of really big names at the Swedish music scene. THIS is when MF actually was very good!
