ISRAEL PRESELECTION 1979

The Israeli Final was held at the Binyaney Ha'uma in Jerusalem on 27th January, hosted by Rivka Michaeli. The winning song was chosen by the votes of regional juries.
Milk & Honey were Gali Atari, Shmuel Bilu, Reuven Gvirtz and Yehuda Tamir - they went on to win the 1979 ESC. Gali Atari previously came 3rd in the 1978 Israeli Final.

I'm confused, where do they announce the winner?

they didn't......i think this was the first nite of the finals..usually it lasted a few days back then. i know with italy's sanremo festival, that lasts for 5 nites before we find out who wins
