The relationship that follows when conformist mothers don’t understand how to handle their daughter coming out is - tumultuous. I always seek this representation because my mother has had a very difficult time coming to terms with my orientation. There’s some academic writing behind the relationships and they focus on the fracture in particular. This short film is meaningful and very well done, thank you.

This short film show you that no matter the country or culture we have to deal with the same issues. Love is love even for two girls

Never knew that a short film could make me cry like this. As a teenage girl, I’ve always been scared of this to happen. As someone who really looks into the daughter’s pov, I just really can’t understand. Love is love, right?

I understand we have the right to love❤ anyone whoever we want we can love but you should not be selfish you must be considered to your mother or your loved ones I'm a fan of 🏳️‍🌈👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩👬LGBT community even though I agree with the girl in LGBT relationship💏 but I understand the mother too cause she has done so much for her & now is the time the girl must do something for her mother too

I’m curious. What exactly must the girl do for the mother? Be miserable? Live a fake life? Would it be better for the mom if the daughter just commits suicide or leaves home and lives on the street like so many other gay youth rejected by a parent, the person they trust to love them? Motherly love is to want your child’s happiness. How exactly is loving someone who is the same sex selfish and hurting the mother? Women are educated now and can provide for themselves. It’s contradictory to say you support LGBTQ and at the same time find it selfish for someone to love who they love. What is selfish is for a parent to expect a child to live falsely and miserably.

if a relationship that went wrong was paid to hurt my mother then i would not have done it, My will is limited by religious rules, and my will is limited by the wishes of my parents. then the only way to finish is just by taking the middle road. impartial in any direction. that's my principle

firstly don't tell anyone and specially them who don't understand, we have to make our career, money, house and life and after that uh can tell anyone and anytime without any hesitation so be clear in mind we are different so we have to do more struggle, if you want happy life and the way you imagine so do some hard work..

My daughter, with tears in her eyes, told me, that she was coming out. As a father a felt a rollercoaster of emotions. At the end of the day, she's my daughter and will love her no matter what. I just want her to be happy.
