I was quite surprused how good Paul sounded in this sound check. Saw EOTR show and Paul struggled some, but the show was spectacular. 70 and still rocking. Absolutely amazing.
He takes a few short cuts, but overall not bad. He could've saved his voice and probably could sing a lot better if he worked with a voice coach. Perhaps he is, at least to preserve what he's got left.

I actually did that on psycho tour with my step son about 12 yrs old I. I had been backstage before for other events so with a little quick walk here a little quick talk there and a kid as my cover lol we made it into arena floor level. Walked 50 feet in to all original members in street clothes sound checking like this . We caught one song before I was politely but swiftly walked out lucky not with a boot in my ass haha like I said I had a 12 yr old as cover . I just played stupid...”oh wow how did I end up here...sorry” and shuffled out but I did see all originals in street clothes jam. Fuckin cool. Good times. My step son still laughs about it .

Paul is 68 and may i remind you of the artist Glenn Hughes who not only is 69, his vocal dexterity hasn´t changed a thing since he started out in 1969. Somehow age is never mentioned in Glenn Hughes video comments while i hear about Paul´s age all the damn time.

They sound really good. Tuned down to D now, which is totally fair considering how high so much of the vocals are for Paul. It's only a 1/2 step down from the way it was. Love watching them in basically a rehearsal sounding this good. Massive stage!

They’ve been playing in D since 2014/15 haha, and unfortunately most of these live performances use backing tracks in which Paul has been caught lip syncing quite a fair few times live. Love the music always but just can’t stand Paul and gene, should’ve hung it up ages ago
Kiss came to Charlotte back in the 70's on a Thanksgiving night. My boyfriend and I had tickets to this great concert. My daddy got SO mad at me because I was not going to be there for the family dinner that he told me not to come home. I went home after the concert and I still had a place to live. Funny story about my first Kiss concert. I still love Kiss.

We got to see so many concerts at great prices. Life was great back then. We got to see the original band members too. I really miss those days. I really enjoyed all the many concerts I have been able to see. I still listen to classic rock.

I actually like the 1/2 step drop down to D from their original Eb key. I think it adds more bass to the overall sound of the guitar riffs and with Paul getting on in years it suits his vocal range perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed this performance and happy that now there should be no need for pre-recorded vocals and extensive backing tracks like they have used in the past.

I've been a Kiss fan since "Alive!". I was in the sixth grade, and been on the roller coaster since. Lineup changes, drama, makeup off, makeup on, etc. But the fans were always there. And now, as the end of the road draws near, we're there for them at the finish line. Thanks, Kiss! If it wasn't for you, I would have made something of myself! 🤣

D tuning makes some songs sound better. I Love It Loud, War Machine, 100,000 Years and Black Diamond sound heavier than ever
Wrong. This is in regular tuning on the album so it’s a whole step down. Most of the 70s stuff is Eb. And anyway he’s lip synching the vocal.
